Yes people, how about we move on and not be concern about who is or is not a spy. Everybody should feel free to comment and voice their opinions about their dislike and/or like about Mayura and their company as a whole. As long as you do not use any profanity, I think it should be ok.

A company should be able to take all sorts of criticism and find ways to turn negative ones into positive ones. If you guys, as a customer, do not voice how you feel then don't except them to know.

For example if there was really a spy in here then we should use them to our full advantage. Say it out, let all your frustration and what you would like to see happen or change in the future. That spy can be the messenger for you all ehehhe.

I'm sure everybody, especially viewers will agree to your suggestion but production will and IS NOT HAPPY, as you can tell. That is why they are taking actions.

Let's say they allow people to post it back on shared site, then what do you have as an exchange Mayura? I mean, if they are not getting a piece of the pie, I don't think they will agree to this, right?

Mayura had just re-launched their business so it's way too early whether their action will be a gain or loss for their business.

Customers always have the power to flip a company. With that said, the power is in your hands whether to make Mayura a winner or a looser LOL

Yup, why not the video store too? Some makes duplicate to rent it out because that is what their customer wants, rental. Is Mayura desperate? I don't know. You guys be the judge.

Khatiya, too late they got your video store (ekosantin) and lakorn-dub. angkorwat still sells mayura movies. i think becuase they buy wholesale from them unlike ekosantin and lakorn dub.


i dont know...personally, just stop watching their movies if you want to boycott. ntry and blue dvd dubs khmer too. eventually,mayura, ntry and blue dvd is gonna go out of business too from all this 'stealing'. then...us khmer will watch in thai and our kids kids will speak thai and forget khmer language. with all this lakorn talk...why isnt there any good khmer movies that are similar to thai lakorn? kinda pathetic. we need more REAL khmer entertainers man! if only i can sing and act....

For real though.. We really need some Khmer entertainer! They make movies that doesn't make sense and omg their dubbed voices in movies.. >_<.. And another one.. They dont read their lines. They have the director read it to them and they repeat it.. Thats the reason why they dubbed their movies.. They need a upgrade! I can't believe that Angkorwat still have Mayura up.. WTH!

i think you and i should be entertainers. lol!!!! what i hate most is those khmer girls in karaoke dancing in the background. their experessions and movements is like they are playing "simmon says" and the director is simmon. lol. i should say....there are very many talented khmer kids in producing short films, but need money to make it bigger.

did angkorwat do you wrong?

There are some hidden talent people out there.. They don't want to come out the closet because all the things that happens to famous people.. Poor people.. That would be nice if we were the entertainers.. LMAO.. YEAH! Well, as for Angkorwat... They never done anything and I never bought anything from them(Some how I have no trust in them lol), but its just wrong how Mayura took action to other website and not them.. That's all..

lol...give them a try before you hate. they have karaoke, khmer movies and much more. anyhow, eksantin wasnt legit...they made copies and sold them so ofcourse their the first to take mayura down. khatiya says they still sell discretely...so if you dont trust angkorwat, go to eksantin. but for you yak, you are collecting them...get the originals from angkorwat before you get a sucky one from eksantin...lol.

I can't speak for all, but I have experience with Angkorwat. I purchase a couple Mayura lakorn from them for cousin in Texas. It was not original. They recorded off the VHS tape and you can see the pause and play and also blue screen many sections in between. Also, another clear sign that they are not selling originals (maybe some titles? )is that they are bringing the titles from the rental section and putting them up for sale. :)

Also for the record, it's my friend at eKomsantime that I help out from time to time whether it's advertising or website. So I can only speak about eKomsantime that they do state in their product description that "it not the official set" so I don't think they had any intentions to hide. Also they carry original set too to some titles and those are specify that they are originals. Most are Thai lakorn from other production and Korean or Chinese Movies. In addition, they are an authorized dealer of YA Entertainment so they are allowed to sell Korean Drama with high quality Eng. Sub. This sound as if I'm advertising but I just want to clarify for my friend who is not tech-savy like moi. eheheheh

Anyhow, back on topic :) like I mentioned, it all boils down to the customers. They have the power to make a business go up or down.

Lol.. I never had any bad experience with Eksatin.. Their is kinda high, but at least their quality is good.. Not like Dubbed-Khmer.. Angkorwat sales originals? What? I heard they sold copies? What about Chinese series? Are they originals too?

Well, I've spoken with the video store I get mayura dvds from....they have boat laods of old mayura lakorns that they've transfered to dvd themselves and they duplicate newer ones for resell at a cheaper price too. Anyways...they've told me they gotten into it with mayura before and told mayura they can't stop them from resell cause mayura has no real copyrights to the thai lakorn. Mayura couldn't say anything and left them alone.

LMAO! Really.. What video store you go to.. I live in San Francisco and there's none out here besides Oakland.. And Oakland doesn't really have much..

EXACTLY - Mayura does not have the copyrights to the actual Lakorns :) They can't do anything to the physical store because who are they going to report? The landlord? eheheheh But they are threatening the website host and website host can only pass down the information to their client.

Hmmmm.. come to think about it, maybe I should help my friend and seek a professional letter questioning Mayura about their copyrights hmmmm interesting ehehehe.

Yep...the video store I go to is SSB Video Store...they're located in Long Beach. They're nice folks. Mayura just needs to realize it's fair game now...before they were the only source for dubbed lakorns now isn't the case. :wacko:
