Hello everyone. This the first time I type a post in this forum that I have been following for a while.
I am happy to see many Roy Mai fans and like you I love this lakorn. It is my fav of the year so far because the lead characters here make me invest into them unlike in other lakorns this year. Aum and Aff have indeniable chemistry hate it or love it and I feel they are at ease with each other. The setting, good acting by most of cast, the place, the chemistry between the leads, the music, the culture, the clothes, the way people talk softly...I love everything about this show. Even Mei now -I have never been scared of Mei , except if I see her in real life, but I find her funny especially when she says she is hungry. But Wongprajan is annoying
I wanted to reply to jeanie. First in my view from what I watched Rerin's personality is very reserved, shy and she is the kind of girl who seldom lets her guards down while Maneerin is the more daring, a little spoiled princess who is used to have her ways. That's why in Rerin/Suriya couple the latter is the more active one while in the Maneerin/Siriwong couple the princess is more active than Siriwong. Therefore I think that Rerin had had feelings for Suriya before knowing he is prince Siriwong. It just that she was afraid since she hardly knows him and same to him. Indeed when he revealed his feelings one sees in her eyes delight+fear. That's why she never said "no I don't feel the same for you, you are my friend..." but "you don't know the real me...". So she feared disappointment namely knowing that she has some issues with her fiance. I think Rerin's body language -she was too open to him- was one of reasons which made Suriya thinks he had a chance with her so he never ceased to pursue her -Siriwong leads him to act like that too. In fact Suriya's behaviour reminds me Maneerin's a lot while Siriwong's reminds me Rerin's. Siriwong's storyline was just the reason for her to let her guards down and dare accept Suriya.
It leads me to Rerin's behaviour concerning her facing her ancient life. Weirdly I am not suprised because Maneerin's spirit plays a role to that in my view -like Siriwong spirit lives in Suriya who waited for "this girl" as he said in episode 1. Therefore Rerin feels more attraction, nostalgy than fear or else when she encounters her past life with Siriwattana -she feels he won't do her bad things. Sometimes she is afraid and she shows it but Rerin and Maneerin personalities are really different -and Aff does a good job at portraying both characters- but Maneerin somehow leads Rerin in her life.
