The Indian movies aren’t even exaggerating either haha! Most middle eastern, central asian, and south asian weddings have so many events that lead up to the actual wedding. It’s crazy but I wouldn’t trade it for the world !

@mayag I’m afghan! So that makes me central asian however most people think we are middle eastern because our cultures are literally identical lol

@mayag it’s a common mistake. Even people from my own ethnicity sometimes call themselves middle eastern cause they don’t even know that Afghanistan is part of central asia lol
