Even though he left you and won't be in your life anymore or your future.You still have other people in your life that matters to you.

    We will all have our weak moments. We will have moments, we can't forget someone or let go of people that come into our life and held a special place then eventually leave. People will always come and go in our life, certain people will stay beside us longer than others.

    Happiness is like that. Only you can taste your own happiness. On a positive note, you've grown up a bit more today than yesterday. You're a bit wiser now than when you were with him a few moments ago, SO PLEASE BELIEVE that there are BETTER and BRIGHTER days to come! The best has yet to happen.

If he's asking you to break up, then the least you can do in the name of love is respect that decision, even if it makes no sense, and set him free. His decision is just as important as yours. Cry for however long your heart needs, but slowly let him go.

    23...is still at an age will you continue to grow. Chalk this one as an experienced where you learn and grow from it. It maybe hard at first because it's love and anything that has to do with the heart is never easy. But look at it this way, he walked away now rather than later when marriage and all that comes to play. Because if he used the age gap as an excuse now there's no telling he won't use it in the future.
