I also prefer Weir over Michael. But if they can't get Weir, Mike is a good back up because he can speak Isan and sing quite well.
 
Baifern starred in Mon Ruk Mae Nam Moon with Weir and Jui. They had to speak Isan in there and I think she spoke better than Jui. Jui sounded straight out of Bangkok trying to blend in. Lol.

Here's a music video of every star from Khon Kaen collaborating to sing about Khon Kaen. Min is in here too but she doesn't sing in Isan. She tends to show off pride for being from Khon Kaen with Weir but I think it's only to impress him. The girl's a suck up. Lol. From calling him hia to dubbing themselves as the sticky rice couple. I doubt she can speak Isan well. Weir and Rome sing in Isan at 2:50. SOOO handsome! Both of them <3

Seems like both Baifern and Thanwa sound good speaking Isan. Both Weir and Thanwa sang good in that lakorn. Weir and Rome are also awesome in that MV. I have a hard time understanding Isan cause I grew up in the states and really only know mainstream Thai even though my parents can speak both Thai and Lao/Isan dialects.

Why is it that the actors and actresses have to try to sing? Just watched ch 3 concert and ch7 concert and I'm gonna have to say that ch 7 actors/actresses carry a tune better. Bella (ch 3) sang the same song as
Grace (ch 7) and Grace sang it better. Bella was off tune/key.

It's because Grace was trained in the musical area since she was young. But Ch 7 has many better and stronger singers than Ch 3, if comparing just the actors/actresses from each channel.

Musicals are always so cringe worthy, but this is Michael so I will watch. With the right song his voice is pretty good. I wish the n'ek was someone else though, I don't mind Pooklook but I want Mike with someone else.

Mike and Pooklook have great chemistry together but I would have preferred a different pairing for this remake. Pooklook's voice is way too cutesy and high pitched to sound good singing look thong songs. And if she's older than Mike and playing the younger sister, who's playing the older sister? Everything just seems so repetitive. It's like Peuan Paeng all over again just with a happier ending.

Oh ho. I think he looks hot. Haha. Give him a little facial hair and we good to go. I think he's hot as Nai Hoy, but he's too young for such character. Tua was 40 when he played Nai Hoy while Namfon was I her mid 20's. Their age gap was perfect, physical compatibility was great and chemistry was sizzling. Mike and Pooklool may have the compatibility and chemistry, but not as older bro n law and younger sis n law... Unless they make some changes to their age which won't help because they look too much around the same age. If anything Pooklook looks older. Haha. Not very convincing cast I dare say.

I do miss my Mike and Bo. I think Bo would be more fitting in this role. I do like Pooklook, but I love Mike/Bo more. Haha
