The OST of Ka Badin is one of those songs that when you listened to it touches you in a way that's hard to explained. It's super sweet...I actually liked the old instrument to the new ones. It's a great mixture of both where none overtake the other.

You know, I didn't like the modern tone in the guy's voice, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it. HEHE. I still wish the guy's voice isn't so modern, but...I get what I get.

There aren't that many male vocalists who can do a legit traditional song though. At least for period lakorns. My favorite part in this song is when he sings the part, "All of my heart is sacrificed only for you.." It killllls me! lol

Yeah, I LOVE that beginning. But then...hu hu...it breaks my heart that the song can't be completely traditional. Haha. I think for me, as long as the singer doesn't sound very R&B or pop~ish, if the song itself doesn't contain traditional instruments I'll like it. For instance the songs in BR, Pete and Kim have classical voices, as oppose to the traditional voice, and even though their songs don't contain any traditional instruments their songs are to my liking. I also LOVE Peuan and Paeng's OST. Gosh this year is the year of great music, I swear. The lakorns may be crap, but the music is awesome. All the lakorns that I've seen this year has a song or two that are very pleasing to the ears. :ghehe:

phatman, Agree, I know what you mean. Ben Chalalit is an R& B artist but he's like the OST god. Lol Maybe someone with a softer voice would sound much more traditional. I wonder if JMA will sing a song. He has a pretty good voice. Granted not traditional, but he sounds like a pro.
 
This year hands down has some of the best OSTs. Both in Thai lakorns and kdrama.

This year hands down has some of the best OSTs. Both in Thai lakorns and kdrama.

Maybe. I've never heard Gun's songs. I don't follow mainstream anymore. Only OST from lakorns.

Agree, same here. It's so hard to weed through all the songs and artists that are out these days. So I just listen to OSTs. lol
