Burning Video_ts files

video_ts is a folder that the dvd files (i.e .vob, .bup) are in. You don't need to convert the dvd files unless you want it as .avi/.mpg/.mp4 etc. Just use Nero or any DVD burning program to burn the files.

Yay!!! Dragging it over works. Thanks KhoOnxNouxWanxJai and KEdoubleNY. I have another issue. Not sure if I should post a new thread... Anways........ I just bought a new burner. LG Super Dvd Rewriter. For some reason it will not read DVD's that I put in unless I install the software that comes with it. The software is PowerDVD, PowerProducer, Nero Express and Secure Disc viewer. I guess the software that I installed isn't compatible with Nero 7 Ultra Edition. It totally wiped out alot of the features that I usually use in Nero 7. Is there another way around this? I want to use Nero 7 and remove the other software, but without the other software my dvd drive will not read DVD's. Please help!!!! I'm not that computer literate.

I don't know why your dvd drive doesn't read the dvd without those programs. Usually, if you buy a dvd drive ... it should come with a installation disc...just install that and everything should work. Now, if you want to burn something ... you gotta have Nero or some other dvd burning programs. Btw, Nero 7 Ultra Edition have Nero Express in it.
Oh, when you say read ... do you mean ... the program open up automatically when you put in a dvd disc? Anyways, to check if your dvd drive read dvd disc without having to install all those programs ... just put in a dvd disc ... than go check your MY COMPUTER and see if there's a dvd title in your dvd drive (i.e D:\Rush_Hour2 ... D:\ being the dvd drive and Rush_Hour2 ... being the movie name)

Well...... when I first bought the drive and installed it, I didn't install the software that came with it. I just used Nero 7 to burn and that worked just fine. The other day I tried putting in a dvd and the drive didn't read it for some reason. I went to my computer and looked at the D:, but it didn't show the movie title. It just said DVD ram drive. So I installed the software that came with the dvd drive and now my Nero 7 doesn't work cause it's not compatible. This sucks!!!!

Maybe the dvd is bad; have you tried playing it on something else?

Maybe your dvd drive can only read NTSC dvd disc and the dvd disc you put in is PAL
