Can any dvd player play v2d format?

i have a question. i have a dvd video player. the brand name is Toshiba. i want to order a thai la korn but it's in v2d format. v2d is dvd converted from vcd. Can i play v2d format in my dvd player? my dvd player can play vcd. original and copy.

What exactly model is your toshiba?

sorry i don't know what software made it. the exact model of my toshiba? like how exact do you mean? well it said on it SD-k760

umm from my googling.. I don't see anything about the dvd player being able to play any other formats other then regular dvd and other things such as mp3s (songs) and jpegs (pictures).

So I think you're outta luck. Might want to play more attention on your next purchase.

from what i know v2d just means vhs to dvd. means someone transferred the videos from vhs probably with a dual recorder to dvd. it should work fine on your dvd player.

you mean its a file? like episode1.v2d ?

I don't see how a regular dvd player would know it can play that file as it is not programmed to read v2d files.

Now if its a specialized dvd player.. sure why not.

no v2d isn't a file extension just abbreviation for vhs to dvd

the dvd is regular with vobs/ifo inside
