This will be her break through role. I really don't understand how she can be so underrated with this level of skills and talent. I love how she's able to portray Leela in a sexy, fierce, and mysterious way yet be subtle about it. She's displaying so many range of emotions in each scene. It's like a mixture of all the different characters she played combined in one: Naed, Wiwa, and Khem. But there's no trace of them being the same character because she plays Leela differently. Not to mention, her eye game is strong. I think that's one of her most prominent features, besides her booty. Lol. I like how she is able to exude lust, anger, sadness, worry, and sincerity through them. When she flirts with Kla and Naran, she comes off  as believable. You know how Ploy does her eye tricks to attract p'eks when she plays rai? Matt's able to do that but she hasn't mastered it like Ploy. Lol.
 
I found the pranang's meeting a bit dramatic. They had trucks flipping and children's lives at risk just to showcase how fated they are to meet each other. Lol. Not complaining. It's a good way to keep us awake.  I also love love love Matt's entrance at the fashion show. She bodied everyone there. It was definitely a wow moment. That's the difference between thinking you're hot and being hot. Matt did it right, unlike Taew in Lom Sorn Ruk. I couldn't stop laughing when she was gushing over how beautiful everyone thought she was when she really wasn't all that. Back to Matt. The way Matt walked the runway really showcased confidence at its best. She is really bringing her A game for Leela's character.
 
For the most part, I think everyone is doing exceptional in their roles. Matt will be playing all the men in that family so it'll  be difficult to watch. I already know I won't favor her character too much. It doesn't help that Rome pulled out so I won't be looking forward to the romance between Narut and Leela. The weakest link in here is Boy, and I think we all predicted that because he was quite expressionless in the photos and he is the same onscreen. Like Meow said, he was not prepared to take on this role. My heart still aches because the thought of Rome as Narut still makes me sad. I kept picturing his portrayal each time Narut comes onscreen. At least they're reunited in Buang Nareumit so that puts me at ease.
 
Overall, I'm really excited for Matt's role. I originally tuned into this for the slap/kiss between RoMatt, but since that has changed, I look forward to seeing Matt's growth as an actress. Producers, please go after her after this. Especially you Anne! Can't you see how talented this girl is? If anything, she reminds me most of you because you both dominate the drama and comedy genres.
 
Oh yeahh, after seeing episode 1, I can't help but want to see Matt play Mootha and Moonin in Raeng Ngao. Oh my goodness, she really reminds me of how Anne played Moonin. Her sharp tongue and hidden reactions of satisfaction when the n'rai gets what she asked for is on point. Sia dai jang. Janie dai len bpai laew.

We need to put Ann having any interest in Matt to rest. We know that she is grooming Kim to be the next "her". At this point in Matt's career I'm OK with that. And Matt has been fine finding her footing so far. She's thriving on her own and that is something to be proud of.

Leela is a complex character and it takes some skill to play her character without coming off as one deminsional. She has to pull back as not to completely be rai and keep that part of n'ek in the mix. Matt has to make viewers hate her when she plays her games but like her when she is broken down. Some actresses can't do both. When they played rai/n'ek one tend to take control of the other character.

When she showed up with the dark lipstick doing the interview, I felt like it's a sign of what to come lol. I like the way she does those small movements that makes an impact to the character. Some scenes all she needed to do is moved her lips a bit, raised her eyebrows...tilted her head or just staring directly at someone. But she managed to do them in a way where it doesn't take away from who she is as Leela.

Wonder why Matt said she was stressed taking on Leela...girl was giving all she got to make this character her own. I might be biased lol but it's hard to see who could be a better Leela than Matt?

The weakest link is still Boy...but it's the beginning and his story with Matt hasn't started yet. He might play his character as someone just being there at the moment and not too involved. But he is going to have to express more of emotions as the lakorn goes on.

We are still heartbroken Rome isn't in here...imagine when Rome goes up against Matt...sigh

Lol yes lets lay the Anne thing to rest before someone thinks we are so jealous, I'm sure they already thinks that. Lol i was already told that it was said that Anne find so and so more talented then others but we fans can't accept it.

I found the old version but i'll wait to watch it. Don't want to spoil myself too much.

I kind of don't care if Matt works with Anne anymore. I haven't been impressed with her latest works. And this is coming from a huge Anne fan. I was a fan of Anne way before I became a fan of Matt and everyone else. ARO was a major let down. It was a unique approach towards introducing something modern into the lakorn world, but it was all over the place. Every character was annoying in there except for Peter's character. The message of the story got lost along the way. She's also biased with her casting. I mentioned it before and I'll mention it again. I like versatility in my favorites whether it be acting or producing skills. You have to branch out and take on different things. Anne's been playing it safe and I don't understand why because she's talented. Her lastname is Thongprasom for a reason. Everything she touches turns into gold. Lol. Take some risks girl. Well, she kind of did with James Ma so kudos to her for giving a new person a chance.
 
With that being said, I'd rather Matt work with productions like Broadcast Thai and Lakorn Thai. The newbies need Anne's guidance more than Matt needs her so I'm okay with Matt not working with her yet. She's already at a level that no one else is at. And you know what? She did it all on her own without a koo jin. She took in advice from every producer, director, and co-worker and grew into the wonderful actress she is presently. That's why she's my second favorite actress after Anne.

My thing is that she likes to remake her own classics, classics I wanted to see how she will remake them but unfortunately not fond of her casting choice.

Well, someone has to mold these newbies into better actors. That's Anne to the rescue. I just won't be tuning into any of her projects. Lol. There's a difference between being a blind fan who supports everything about their favorites and me, a fan who supports my favorites but still have my own heart to follow. Hence, if I don't like a certain thing about the cast and script, I will not tune in despite who's in it or who produces it. I will spend my time accordingly. Lol. I have skipped my favorites' lakorns.

Jui and Ploy aren't newbies though.


I am ready to see Matt as a ghost.

I am so looking forward to Matt/Rome, missed them now that you guys are talking about them.

Hahaha Meow...we are already called haters, jealous people so it's nothing new. I failed to see it though lol. We are just pointing out what we've seen. I mean, Matt has 3 lakorns airing this year and keep on getting new lakorns so what is there to be jealous about? She's been giving opportunities right and left. She is after all, Nok's child.

I like to think some of us are level headed fans...heck, I even want Matt to play rai. I am not stuck or high on her just being n'ek. I think it will be cool to see it at least once. She has enough talent to be rai anyway.

But yes, the wardrobes in here kick ass. She looks fierce, beautiful confidence and just plain rule the scenes lol.
