Finally it is getting a little juice. Narut is paying attention to Leela's game and run the strategy with her.
Boy still doesn't show any chemistry with Matt but his chemistry with Mint isn't too bad. It's narak. I think it's because with her, he can be more relaxed. Boy is doing a lot better when he takes the reign (like the scene on the stage) but steps back when he's in a scene with others. Ok I have a little bit of hope, I think lol.
Finally, watched episode 4 and one millisecond Boy was cute when he was in the scene with Mint and Matt. He had a big smile and actually showed a little life in his character.
But when he become serious he sucks the life out of himself. I think, he has this perception of how a serious person supposed to act but in the process he doesn't know how to relax. He's stiff and uncomfortable. In the scene with Matt in her black feathers dress...when she walked away from him as he looked on, he looked like he's about to cry and that's not what his intention was but he hasn't grasped the character fully.
But Mint is probably the only character for now that makes him relax and be himself and if he can incorporate that side of himself to the ones he has with others he might be OK.
As I watched this episode, Boy's sister relationship with her husband is what stood out. The more I see how it's played, I feel sorry for her. Her love for him knows no boundaries. She will humiliates herself, self destruct and lose all dignity as a person all for a love that doesn't deserve any of it.
It's sad but love is as beautiful as it is dangerous. Unfortunately, hers is harmful in every way. Her husband could do anything and she will forgive him, blames others, herself before she sees the real culprit and that is the one she claimed to love most.
Matt is as raeng as a n'ek going to be. She's playing all the men and it will be that way till Boy completely figure out her games. And Boy will lead then. The script is good, dialogues are good...the missing ingredient is the spark between pranangs but, of course, that missing piece happened to be the most important.
