Nai would definitely choose Nok. I think the reason why he's so fixated on the baby right now is because his mom just left him forever and he's focused on someone who wouldn't leave him, his child. Nok already kicked him out and he's probably thinking that his mom died and left him with finality, why would the universe make an exception and change Nok's mind to stay with him. He still thinks that Nok hates him or doesn't love him enough to stay with him so the baby is the only person who can be his buddy now. His mom left but his baby is yet to be born.
