Lastly, if you watched Mario and Baifern's movie dubbed in Filipino and was aired in ABS-CBN, you will say that dubbing was not that good. Mario and Baifern rose to fame because their movie was a hit online and that's when ABS-CBN took notice of it and exploited it.

As for the timeslot, that's the precious timeslot for the acquired Asian dramas. Same as the rival channel, ABS. If you will take a look at the rival show of SWITCH, you can say that it will be a very hard battle for the lakorn cause the counterpart is a good Kdrama (What's Wrong With Secretary Kim).

Leh Lub's editing was not good in the first place. The OST's was not changed. They still used all the background songs unlike previous Kdrama acquisitions in which they inserted a local OST.

You can't just compare how lakorns are being treated vs. the first year of fame of Mario in the Philippines. Their movie was phenomenal online. Even if you will not show it on TV, Mario will still be hot.

That's just my take tho. I want SWITCH also to perform good just like You're My Destiny and Princess Hours cause I want more lakorns to be shown here.

Again, I am more of NY fan or a believer on the 2 as a couple J rather than a specific TV network here in the Philippines. That’s why I am concern about SWITCH’s rating and popularity, the 3rd episode did not trend again on the TOP 10 last night L. I am still hoping and praying it will trend and improve in the coming days.


YouTube subscribers alone can say something about the network since one can see Switch’s TV show snippets from there. Everyone knows you tube is the way to go nowadays.

- GMA network where SWITCH is being shown has 6.76M subscribers only.

- Rival network ABS CBN has 12.94M subscribers i.e. more than double of what GMA has, so if SWITCH was shown there it can be seen by more people.

o Again, just maybe : that is why Mario Maurer is very famous in the Philippines his shows were seen on ABS CBN.

- Channel 3 Thailand has 12.35M subscriber almost similar to ABS CBN

- In all aspects of Social Media flat forms ABS CBN is leading over GMA that is why more of my friends wished that ABS CBN should have gotten NY.

- Ratings is relative since both are claiming they are NO. 1 using 2 different rating system. BUT YOU TUBE are real accounts of people subscribing to the network.

- But as a true fan of NY – I will support them especially SWITCH and hoping that more people will watch it even if the network has lesser digital subscriber.

ABS CBN to me is the best network. GMA has a lot of better shows, But there are far more famous actors and actresses in ABS CBN becsuse they really take care of them and know how to promote them
Deciding between the two... It’s like choosing between going to Golden Globes and Academy Awards, and you can only go to one, the other one isn’t bad but the other one is better,

Mario is famous in the Philippines because he made a movie there with Erich Gonzalez under star cinema (ABS CBN).. for anyone who’s curious the movie is called Suddenly Its Magic

I think the rating was more because people are watching their favorite actors rather than the show though cause again in my opinion GMA seem to produce better shows. But ABS CBN is a giant because of their actors which are actually their assets. . And also when awards starts pouring out. Most times than not ABSCBN gets more of them, So it’s better if NY lakorn was in ABS CBN . It would be talked about for sure because ABS CBN always give so much attention to anything foreign they promote. but GMA is not bad. At least they’d be given a chance to be seen in the Philippines .

I said this once and I will say it again. The way these two look at each other is to die for. You can just feel their love and admiration. I wonder if that's how my husband and I look when we stare at each other LOL.
But I realized something today. If NY have really been together since 2011? For 7-8 years? Then they have been together even longer than MK (5years), also one of my favorite couples. That's crazy

Just saw the 4 main cast got interviewed after finished watching the movie . Ny got tease about the Paris trip .ny get tease quite a bit . Taew fav scene is during ny talking in the car . Everything about it , the chemi between ny etc .
I am curious to the ending scene of the movie. Someone ask ny when talking in front of the statue nakee , where they shy ? I can’t really hear but m gonna take a wild guess . At the end I think na character ask soi for hand in marriage. Something along that line . Na say p off let them improvise , cuz it’s the end and it wasn’t written in the script . Than ken comment did u ask for real ? Lol ken say m asking for myself . If someone find a clearer interview, correct me .lol
