- Pum's dad and Peung's dad made a promise 10 years ago to have their children marry to pay off each other gratitude.
- Peung dad's helped Pum's dad due to money issues.
- Peung's familly runs into some financial crisis and to save their reputation, her father must betroth one of his daughter to his old friend's family to get the dowry.
- He wants Lom, the 2nd daughter, to do it but she refuses to do it b/c she doesn't want to waste her life living in some farm and marry off to a bad man (she assumed).
- She lies and tells the truth to Peung that she's just an adopted daughter of the family and that her parent want to get rid of her from inheriting the money.
- Peung is heartbroken and feels bad about the while situation.
- Out of gratitude, she agrees to marry Pum, a man who she has never met.
- Pum refuses to get marry as well but to mend his dad's promise he agrees.
- Peung decides to break off her relationship with her officer boyfriend upon agreeing to marry Pum.
- Pum comes to Bangkok to gather information on his future bride and stumbles upon the two lovers.
- He notices that Pueng never shed tears while the officer cries his heart out (lmao)
- Peung doesn't want to cry b/c she doesn't want to show her weakness to her boyfriend.
- Coincidentally, Pum also hears Lom and the officer's conversation about Peung ..
- Lom claims that Peung broke off their relationship upon learning the truth that she has no rights in inheriting the family's fortune
- She wants to cling onto another rich man to help support herself from falling poor.
- Pum concludes that Peung is a money hungry woman just like his ex-girlfriend who clung onto him for his money, ran off with her lover and died in the mountain. She left a scar in his heart even til dates.
- He decides that he will be the one to teach a money hungry woman like Pueng a lesson and take revenge on her (omg, he's so bad - taking revenge on an innocent soul who has nothing to do with his past but just a coincidental mistake which was not one to begin with)
- Pum asks to have the wedding take place abruptly with no guests from his side and no family/friends.
- He shows no respect to her parent whatsoever b/c he thinks she's after his money.
- Pueng's mom agree to marry her off b/c she's scare that they won't get the dowry on the wedding day.
- On the wedding day, Pum dresses in plain dirty clothes and brings a basketful of tea leaves to present to the bride.
- Peung's mother thought the basket is full of money and gold.
- Pum explains that the tea leaves are more valuable than the crystal, the ring, the money, and/or anything else.
- Pueng is hurt that Pum purposely do this to humiliate her.
- Pueng's mother still insists on getting the money from Pum for raising her.
- Pum laughs loudly in front of the little amount of guests to ridicule Peung's mom for trying to sell off her daughter for survival.
- He says he will give Peung's mother the money on behalf of Pueng just like she is an employee of his. She will earn no special treatment/privilege from him. If Pueng can't handle the work and runs off before the months are up then everything will be consider as invalid and that the two families will be free from each other's debt/gratitude.
- Pueng's mother agree upon this condition and will think of other ways to get the money from Pum.
- Peung has a feeling that she's about to meet trouble with this rude, egoistic, and dreadful man. Her time came sooner than expected.
- Pum orders Peung to return to Chiang Rai with him after the wedding .. only to go to hell (Sounds so harsh T_T) BUT Pueng will not give into him that easy especially when he shown no respect to her and her family. For her, a tooth is for a tooth and an eye is for an eye (i love this phrase)
- Peung changes into her night gown and refuses to go anywhere even if Pum orders her to get ready to leave.
- Pum scoops her up, carries her and throws her into the truck of his car before driving off lol
- Pueng struggles to be free ... and off the car but Pum is able to catch her, ties her up, and stuffs something in her mouth to keep her quiet. However, she is able to break free... he then covers her head with a bag and blindfolds her .. he finally takes her to his farm. The vast land is big and beautiful .. not like what Pum described as 'hell.' lol
- Peung understand the feeling of heaven and hell once she reaches there.
- Pum drops Peung to his mother and she is shocks to see how Pum treated Peung.
- She orders Pum to take good care of Peung or else she will not go and do her meditation like she intended in the first place.
- Pum agrees to follow his mother's orders but after she leaves he forces Pueng to stay in the hut behind the farmhouse with no facilities to use, with no clothes to wear, and with no one to help (He's so evil T_T)
- Peung gets scare but remains strong as life must go on for her. She can't surrender especially when she knows her family at home needs money. She will not let Pum's little insult pull her down. (His insult: If you can't handle it then go home)
- Peung uses her knowledge and capability to help make friends with the employees and attains clothes and food from them. She found a friend in Por Liang, Pootawee, who she thought was a hill tribe person.
- Pootawee finds it funny and continues to play this role as a friend to Peung. He helps bring life into Peung's misery.
- Pum's plan of making Peung return home failed therefore he drags her back to live in the big house w/him.
- He hope to bully and torture her badly to the point where she wants to run home to break off the money hunger personality in her.
- Pueng moves to live in the house .. behind the big house is another smaller house where Pum's mom live. She moves to live there to give the young lovers their privacy lol (Good mother!)
- Pum uses his rights as her husband as an excuse to have her work around the house and cook for him without anyone's help everyday (opportunist) BUT he is surprise .. He didn't think that a city girl like her would know how to cook and clean around the house like a wife. He finds no flaws/mistakes or lacks in her. Not only she's good at these works, she also kindhearted and sweet/cute too. She speaks well (well manners) therefore it's not hard at all for his mother and the employees to not love her (In your face, Pum!)
- Ura, the neighboring Por Liang's daughter, sneaks in to take a look at Peung for she has long for Pum and wants to snatch him away from Peung.
- Ura plays around with Pum and Pum takes this opportunity to play along to make Peung jealous but she remains silent and ignores them like she couldn't careless. Not only this, even when Pum wants to go out to sleep with other women outside of the house she wouldn't care b/c she doesn't love him lol (now he's craving for her attention but she couldn't careless -- poor guy!)
- Pum gets even more annoy when the officer moves to work in the province relating to some drug case (jealous horns came on lol)
- Pum insults the officer that he's using his work as an excuse to snatch other people's wife away lol (jealous, indeed!)
- The officer always tries to find time/ways to come to look after Peung b/c he still believes in their relationship.
- At the same time Lom asks to stay at Pum's house .. using the excuse that Peung must miss home after being far away for so long to only come after the officer.
- The officer is not the only one who go back and forth between work and the farm to see Peung, the Jao girl and Por Liang Pootawee. He is enchanted by Peung as well. He thought Peung was Pum's younger sister that's why he comes often to see her face. This annoys Pum (in bad mood) and makes him bully Peung every time he comes. He accuses her that she's looking for a new place to replace his place (hahaha - Pum, oh, pum, you're hilarious!)
- Pueng tells him that she has the rights to do it b/c he's not the owner of her ... this triggers Pum's anger and so he pulls her for a forceful kiss to teach her a lesson (Kissing lesson, i tell you lol)
- His mother comes to interrupt them ... he learns that his mother told everyone that Pueng is here as his younger sister therefore he feels guilty afterward.
- He tries to come up with reasons to wash away his guilt but still concludes that maybe he's right in his thinking that Peung is seeking a new shelter elsewhere for he feel he is never wrong in his way of thinking (well, you're wrong this time! i love it when a man is confuse in his own thinking).
- Pueng is hurt from the act of a vulgar man like Pum. She couldn't help but thought of a good man in her life and the officer came to mind .. at the same time, she didn't know that he also misses and thinks of her in his every breath; even when Lom tries to fill in this emptiness. This didn't work for he hope that one day when Pat and Peung are separated Peung will come back to him (awe, he's such a nice guy).
- Pum's mother adores and doesn't want to lose Pueng .. therefore she has a gathering and announce publicly to everyone that Peung is her daughter in law. This announcement makes other give up hope in separating the young couple
I've been waiting for so long and only 16 episodes? *SIGH* Okay then. Majurat See Nam Pueng. <3 But I wish they will stay on schedule.... but okay.
