Sure am excited to see Kim with a new pairing although was desperately hoping for Nadech. Honestly I'm new to Thai drama so am not familiar with James at all so he has some good acting chops :) Oh and this is one of the funniest threads that I've come across ...you gals are such a hoot  :dance1:  loving all the gifs!

I'll take your word for it and he is quite easy on the eye as well I must say  But in saying that for me personally if the acting isn't up to scratch it will be a huge turn off and Kim is acting skills are pretty impressive for someone her age :)

I'm not a James fan and I think his acting is really good in newbies. I watched some clips and saw his performance in his first lakorn. I need to say its really good for a person that didnt have exprience before. All of his facial expression, lines reading etc is natural. It is unexpected to me. From now he just acts two lakorns (one havent been broadcasted) but I trust on his acting. The two lakorns is totally different types so he must improve his own acting skills. For Samee Ngern Phon, the character is a new challenge to him as he need to act a doctor and a husband that is not familiar his real life and personality but I think he cant can handle it with his talent. Also P' Ann can surely give a help as she taught Kim in Punya Chon Kon Krua a lot.

Gum Lai Mat was actually the lakorn Kim was supposed to be in, not Nang Rai Tee Ruk. But she got switched with Janie, who was originally casted in NRTR.

Kim already got a new haircut. She trimmed her bangs. :) You should see pictures of Kim and James at Ch. 3's calendar event. I don't think Kim looks older than James there at all. She looks her age now with the bangs. And her and James could pass as being the same age.

LOL. I saw that post. Personally, I don't want MK for this. Well, for one, Kim needs a different co-star. And secondly, I don't think Mark would fit this character.

Exactly! Kim needs to pair with someone that wasn't her brother at the beginning XD I need her with a fresh new co-star, because looking at this character for this lakorn, it looks like the p'ek has to show a lot of emotion through the eyes and through the body language, and since James is good at showing emotion through his eyes, I believe he can do it, my baby loves challenging himself in different roles, I love him!   :spin:  He reminds me of Andrew, personality wise.  :coverlaf:

Lol. Hmmm, I still don't think we're on the same page. xD I think you're saying that Kim was supposed to be in both NRTR and GLM. But, Kim was only originally supposed to be in GLM, not NRTR too. Due to Ch. 3 replacing her with Janie in GLM, Kim had to take Janie's lakorn (NRTR) instead. But Kimmy's only other lakorn besides SNP for 2015 would've been GLM. However, it's not anymore. It's NRTR. My point is, she wasn't originally casted in both. :p
 
I think Ch. 3 switched Kimmy out of GLM not because it would've been conflicting with her schedule, because as I said Kim was definitely available since this and GLM were her only two lakorns for 2015...but Broadcast probably favors Janie more as she's a veteran and she's worked with them more. So when they knew that Janie was available, they swapped Kimmy with her. If Janie never replaced Kimmy in GLM, Kimmy's only lakorns for next year would've been GLM and SNP. Hopefully that made sense. Lol. I don't think I'm repeating what you're saying, but correct me if this is what you were trying to say from the start. :bhehe:
 
As for Mark and Kim, I like them (I'm not crazy about them, but I like them). But at the same time I don't want Anne casting them together back to back. They're already in ABO and two years prior to that, they were in PCKK. Anne can pair them up again at least after another two years. Someone else is probably going to pair them up next year or the year after anyways. Lol. It just gets too repetitive seeing the same pairing year after year. Before Kim pairs up with Mark again, I want her to work with as many other actors in the industry as she can. That will allow her to gain more experience, and it will help her to grow more as an actress. Whereas, if she were to just pair up with Mark forever, it would cause her to be too comfortable with Mark and it would be a little harder for her to build good chemistry with her other co-stars.
 
I also think James is a much better fit for the male lead in this lakorn. As I've said many times, James resembles Pol the most from the younger generation. He's got the mono lids and the thin lips. They both look very Asian. Lol. (That's not a bad thing. :p) Plus, judging from clips of James' lakorn with Mint, I think he has a lot of potential. He seems like a versatile actor. :yes: And I think this lakorn may be his breakthrough too. He's already a rising actor with a good amount of fans, but I think this lakorn will boost his popularity to the extent of that of the Lom Gang's (i.e. Kimmy, Nadech, Mark, Yaya, etc.). I even think Kimja will become the new koo jin. :coverlaf: :thumbsup:
