The marriage is sort of pointless. Haha. But if you look at it from Pope's side, he's buying time to be next to her. To be honest, Pat is sort of dumb. She should be able to read him out like a book that he's just throwing his kiddy tantrums because she hurt him. How can Pat not observe how well he treats her despite the situation. If Pope truly wanted to hurt or revenge on Pim and Pat, he would have done so a long time ago. How can Pat not know that Pope has the heart for her when he married her. Why hasn't it ever crossed Pat's mind that if Pope really didn't love Pat, he would have called the police and dragged her into jail, not marry her like this. I mean, come on, he's handsome, young, smart, and rich. He can have any girl out there but he chose her, a thief who stole from him shamelessly. She has the nerves to ask for more time to return the money! Uh, hello? You stole the money within minutes, what makes you have the right to bargain for more time?!
If Pope was a true bastard who didn't love Pat, he would keep her in the dark as a mistress for a few years. You know, marrying someone like Pope is a miracle. He just doesn't marry anyone. If it was Marathee who stole the money, her ass would be in jail by now. In a way, Pope unconditionally loves Pat. He allowed her to gold dig him. He didn't want to hurt Pat but at the same time, he wanted to teach her a lesson for stealing too.
It serves Pat right for stealing and then on top of that she's dumb enough to agree to marry Pope. It's a marriage, girl, not a free ride to the chocolate factory. Hahah. So yes, pleasing your husband is part of the agreement. It's not like they had a prior arrangement that he won't touch her. This is a legit marriage. So Pat shouldn't be screaming her lungs out saying she hates him when she placed herself in this situation. She agreed to marry Pope, so she must take responsibility and suffer the consequences. Is Pat that delusional to believe that she'll be as white as snow by the time she leaves Pope? Wow! Talk about double standards here. Pope should have just let Pat get thrown in jail. That way, she can't hate Pope, her husband, for wanting what a husband should have, intimacy. Lol
Pat should have just been honest to her parents and asked them for forgiveness as she tells them why she had to steal. The parents are going to find out one way or another and hello? It would bring more shame later on when Pat becomes a divorcee and used goods in two years time. It makes no sense to me.
Honestly, if it were Yood or Arthorn who threw out the marriage card and they'll pay Pat's debt, I doubt she'd agree. It's because Pat likes Pope already so being in a fantasy marriage with him is plausible. I mean, she's lived with him before. Lol Pope, too. He's so hurt, he's keeping her closer to him than ever.
Two stubborn people who love each other. Haha.
