Chapter 2: Her smile
People always said first love is unforgettable and Boy couldn’t agree more on this, but Toey is not even his first love. Toey is just a little girl he worked with in the past. Why she is so difficult to forget?. He just cannot understand his own heart. He faked a bright smile to his homestay family before Patrick and Alex lead his way toward their beautiful Japanese home.
“Perhaps it’s time for me to introduce you to my little family. ” Alex said.
“He is my fathim, Khun Akara and she is my mothim, Ayaka-Wanami , hime is P’Boy Pakorn.”
“Konnichiwa” Boy bowed to the rest of his host’s family and café shop staffs.
“Kaiwai ne!” Patrick’s mother, Mrs Wanami patted Boy’s shoulder and give him the brightest smile as he has never seen before.
“Arigato.” he bowed.
After introduce himself to the rest of the staffs and his host family, Alex and Patrick guide Boy to his room which is very comfy and beautiful. He has never expected the homestay can be this beautiful and peaceful. He guess he made the right choice.
“ P’boy , let us know if you need anything , the dinner will be ready soon.”
“ Thank you , Patrick , Alex. I will freshen up and be ready for dinner. ”
Boy watched the tall man leave as he unpack. He actually feeling a little bit better from all the pressure of work in Thailand. He finally can get away from the media and get some fresh air.
“That’s right, my mom must be worry about me.”
Knowing his mother well enough that she is worried sick about him right now, he turn on his phone and call to his younger brother immediately.
{What’s up P’boy , have you arrive? }
“Yes!! ”
{You are really great, fleeing like this. Mom is very concern about you}
“I knew, I knew that why I call. ”
{We already told him, you are so stress with work and need a vacation.}
“Thanks bro. This is the first time you guys did something useful for me.”

They end the conversation once Alex knocked on the door asking him to join the dinner.
“ Bye! See ya”

They have local Nagano foods together, it is very nice. Everyone enjoyed their foods and chatting together about this and that. Boy telling them about his life in Bangkok except his celebrity background and they tell him about their life in Japan. He reminded silent for a couple of minutes when they ask him about girlfriend.
“I don’t have a girlfriend now.”
“That is unbelievable, you are so handsome and attractive.” Mrs Wanami echoed
“Mom !”
“Maybe I am destiny to be single all my life.” Boy chucked softly.
“You said you don’t have a girlfriend now, it basically mean you have a lot in the past and there will be someone in the future for you.” Alex’s father, Mr Akara said
“Don’t be discourage, there are many good Japanese women here.”
“Yes.”
After shower, Boy spent the first night in Japan settled on his warm bed. Soon, Toey appear in his mind again…he remind himself , he come here just to forget her but his heart never listen to him. He took a deep breath as he watched the moonlight dance across his room.
“No instagram , no facebook , no email , no media news…you can forget her. Don’t be ridiculous Boy Pakorn , she is not your first love , she is not the sexist women you had ever seen , she is very lovely just like your sister. Don’t you dare expect from her more than a sister-brother relationship. Okay?? ” He whispered before slowly closed him eyes.
For some reason he couldn’t even understand his heart, he just couldn’t imagine dating a girl that is not Toey. Why he only want and need her so bad like this?. He know if he date any other women, he wouldn’t have any problem. He thought he is going crazy if he continued thinking about her. He had to stop this, stop this freaking thought of her, stop his pounding heart that always only beating fast for her. He need to find a new girl and moved on with life.

It took a moment for Boy to wake up from his bed. It is his first day at work at his host family café shop, he cannot be late. He grabbed a normal t-shirt and blue jeans and run toward the bathroom. He yawned after freshen up, Alex and Patrick who is just back from their morning jogging greets him.
“ How was your sleep last night ? P’boy.
“It was great. I don’t even want to wake up from the bed “
“Would you like to go hiking with us next week?”
Before he can reply to both of them, Mrs Wanami’s voice call out his name. She stood at the kitchen nearby and smiling to both of her handsome sons.
“Shower quickly, breakfast is ready darling.” Wanami brothers nodded before bickering over who can shower first, consider it just as the biggest problem in their lives. Boy sighed and help Mrs Wanami set up the breakfast table.
“Did you have a good night sleep?”‘
The older woman asked once they finish set-up the table.
“Yes, I had a wonderful sleep last night. “
“That is good to hear. Boy.” Alex’s father study Boy’s face for a few minutes before smiling at him
“Fleeing is good for a short term but you cannot escape it forever. It is in your heart.”
Boy can feel his great-full tone, Mr Akara can really see through him.
“Looking back, I really hated how I was always run from the hope and chance that I can be with my love one, I couldn’t imagine how my heart would ached and feeling the regret if I cannot marry Alex’s mother. I wasted a lot of time. ”
“But at least you are still married to her now. ”
“What are you girls talking about? ” Mrs.Wanami ask her husband curiously
“ Man thing! ” Mr Akara reply playfully
“ It means women just had to stay out of it , mom. ”
Alex who win over Patrick and finish his shower first echoed before settled down on his seat next to Boy.
“Alex, you have your private bathrooms why you had to bickering over the bathroom?”
Alex smirked “Because my dear little brother just want to sleep after exercise and yeah, you know about it mom, he is more than happy that he lost so he can sleep more. ”
All of them laughed including Boy. They start the breakfast after Patrick finish his shower. It’s still early in the morning to open the café shop, Alex and Patrick decide to go to the market with Boy so they can teach him about their inventories and suppliers.
“P’boy , do you want to go hiking? ”
Patrick suggest as they walk to the market, Boy nodded.
“It sound fun and I don’t have anything to do now.”
“How about this weekend? You will have a two day off per week. Remember? ”
Alex pointed out and Boy nodded.
“Do you actually like someone? P’boy. ”

THAILAND :
Toey looked up from her drink at P’nak word, already feel uncomfortable that he brought this topic out.
“Do you know where Boy is?”
“I don’t know P’nak.”
Actually Toey feel very concern about Boy. She cannot contact him, he didn’t post anything on his IG for a few days now.
“Where on earth is he? Right now he has a project with Margie, you know?. Boy never irresponsible like this. I’m getting worried. And Toey, you and Boy stick likes glue. How can you don’t know where is he?. Are you kidding me? “
“I really don’t know P’nak.”
“I think I need to contact his family then. It is the only choice.”
Toey watched P’nak left as she scroll down at Boy’s IG. His latest post was 3 days ago. She did message him but never get any reply back.
“Where are you P’boy?”
A few weeks ago: [Flashback]
“Toey , we need to talk.” P’wat , Toey’s manager grab her back from the CH3 station to her apartment.
“Is it serious?”
“It is. I need to ask you one question, do you want to be a Koojin with Boy?”
“P’boy?” Toey question her manager once again and P’wat nodded.
“But he was always with Margie.”
“Listen, CH3 wants to promote you and Boy as the new Koojin but if you don’t want it , they wont force but Pee just want you know that it is a good opportunity for you.”
“I..”
“…………”
After a P’wat give Toey sometime to think about it, she finally have an answer.
“P’wat , I don’t think I can do it. I’m not good enough to be pair as Koojin with P’boy , and P’boy and Margie has been working together for a long time. They did such a great job together I don’t think I have enough talent to be pair with P’boy in more projects. I mean…I want to work with him…I …. I ”
“I get the answer. And I agree, you just broke up with Alex. But it still a really good opportunity I will tell them back that you don’t feel comfortable with it. Just don’t regret it Toey.”
“I won’t regret it P’wat. I knew it is a good opportunity but Margie and P’boy really look good together on screen. I cannot compare to them.”
“You know what? Toey is just being Toey.”
“Huh?” P’wat just give Toey a small smile and take his leave.
Back to reality:
“Work probably is too stress for you P’Boy, if I am the one working with you in this project. You probably reject it in the first place, it really lucky that you are pair with Margie, you just needs to take sometime off.”
Toey looks at his last IG post and smile.
“Wherever you are, be safe P’Boy.”
