I think Chaba and Kla are a good example of not being in the right place and right time. Chaba has not opened her heart to a romantic relationship and she has already identified herself as a woman who goes against gender roles. So since Kla is wooing her in the typical fashion she will continue to keep her guard up around him.
With Thong Ake, Chaba will slowly build trust and friendship until it's too late and she has already fallen in love with him. Then she'll understand Kla's words about liking someone just for who they are.
I am liking the pacing of the first two episodes. Pong's transformation was a little too miraculous lol but I suppose that goes to show Thong Ake's natural talent and diligence. I get that grandpa feels TA isnt ready to shoulder the responsibility of healing people, but what's frustrating for me is that he doesn't seem to even acknowledge TA's effort? Like, medicine is TA's life and lineage and he hasn't ever considered any other profession so...why not be encouraging?
