Since nobody posted a synopsis yet, I took the initiative to translate this very long article from Kapook to give everyone a better idea of what this will be about. I personally think it's going to be a great one so I'm very excited
Lah Sut Kop Fah takes place in a small sized country between India and China known as Rayaa. By tradition, the country holds an annual competition to choose the most top notch bodyguard in the country. The King also takes part in the event by attending the final day of the tournament to make sure that everything runs smoothly. In addition, he's a deciding factor in choosing who is the most skilled and best fitting for the position. One of the contenders is Kamin (Weir), one of King Intra's most trusted men. He's the young bodyguard of Prince Makee, the son of King Intra, who is also next in line for the throne.
Other than looking after Prince Makee, Kamin also helps the Prince manage his royal duties. He's one of the most trusted bodyguards/soldiers in the palace making him the King's right-hand man. As for his background, Kamin is an orphan. No one really knows of his true background, but some believe that his parents were the King's most trusted royal servants. They probably lost their lives in an accident while escorting the King around the country to visit his people. Others think that he's the son of a dancer who became pregnant out of wedlock. To escape from embarrassment, she committed suicide after the father refused to take full responsibility. This is why Kamin doesn't take interest in searching for the truth about his true identity. He wholeheartedly dedicates his life to the King and his country because King Intra is the one who took him in and gave him shelter since he was a child
While growing up, King Intra always let Prince Makee have things his way which resulted in his son developing bad habits and growing up to be an irresponsible and careless person. He doesn't take interest in learning how to fulfill his royal duties to a point where Kamin becomes responsible and does all his works for him. When Prince Makee goes and has relations with women, Kamin always has to go and clear things up for him until those women decide to go after him instead. In order to shake them off, he sometimes pretends to be gay. Furthermore, one of the generals in the palace wants to obtain more power by offering his daughter's hand in marriage to Prince Makee with the support of his mother, Queen Savitree. In addition, Queen Savitree doesn't like Kamin because she feels that he is a threat. Since her son is useless and irresponsible, Kamin became the villagers' favorite. He has a lot of potential and tends to win everyone's heart including King Intra who loves him like a son.
In order to prevent the general's plan from becoming successful, King Intra decides to choose a young lady from outside of the country to marry Prince Makee. That woman is none other than Mottana (Min), a Thai woman that King Intra secretly engaged to Prince Makee. Tammarat, Motana's father, is a close friend to King Intra. They've known each other ever since King Intra went to study abroad at a Thai university. In addition, Tammarat is the only person who knows of King Intra's secrets and Kamin's true identity which he had kept hidden for the past 26
years.
Meanwhile, the general and Queen Savitree oppose the idea of having a Thai girl marry Prince Makee. However, King Intra insists that it would be a good idea for the royal family to have connections with a knowledgeable businessman like Tammarat who can help guide them on how to have their country achieve modernization and economic growth. The council members agreed to his reasoning and found it to be a good idea which forced the general to give in and back away from his plan. For that reason, King Intra sent Kamin to Thailand to bring Mottana to Rayaa so she could marry Prince Makee. On the other hand, Motana's father could not eat or sleep until he received the message that the King had sent someone for Mottana as they had promised. He's worried because Mottana doesn't possess any lady-like qualities to become Prince Makee's bride and future queen. Kamin was sent in place of Prince Makee to take care and protect Mottana while bringing her back to Rayaa.
Moreover, Mottana’s family decides to throw an event to celebrate Mottana’s successful completion of college. They made sure to dress her beautifully, worthy of her reputation in honor of her family’s name. It was her first debut into high society, and it was important that she made a good impression. However, Mottana's arrival stunned everyone in the room when she entered wearing horse-like teeth similar to Keo Na Maa. Mottana’s father didn’t know where to hide his face since Kamin coincidentally arrived on that same day to witness the whole ordeal. Suddenly, a secret hitman emerges and begins to shoot at Tammarat. Mottana quickly runs to find her parents. Kamin jumps in to help and pushes Mottana out of the way to safety. He chased the hitman out of the room and was shocked when he saw Mottana speeding on a motorcycle to chase after the hitman as well. The hitman eventually got away.
After the incident, Mottana's mother was crying in fear. Kamin agreed to keep Mottana’s behavior a secret and will try his best to try and change her into a noble young lady. However, it’s already too late because the picture of her arriving at the event looking like Keo Na Maa (horse lady) has already reached Prince Makee in Rayaa. Prince Makee was truly displeased and refused to have Mottana become his future bride. He ordered Kamin to do whatever he can to make sure that the marriage does not happen. Kamin became very stressed because King Intra wants the opposite. He has seen Mottana ever since she was little and is certain that she is not the stubborn and troublesome woman that she appears to be.
Truth is, Mottana is a modernized and loveable young woman who is always cheerful. She loves the excitement of life and never finds herself experiencing any hardships or sadness. She’s very athletic and active, taking part in all kinds of activities such as swimming, bicycling, and running marathons. No matter how hard one tries, they cannot get Mottana to behave like a young lady. She’s constantly searching for someone who is as competitive as she is in the activities that she takes part in. One guy suffered after trying to be that special person. Mottana brought him to play a daringly dangerous game which frightened him away in fear. After that incident, she was nicknamed as the adopted daughter who always gets things her way.
To be continued....
