Pooklook is darker skin, generally from the south, not north. Yeah, Now would be a better candidate since she physically fits the character and has a long familiarity with traditional dancing. However, it's a very raeng lakorn. I don't know if the elders want her in that type of role yet.

Northern are really light skinned and southern are darker.

What if they are mixed and the skin color is just DNA? Seriously skin color doesn't matter because it can't tell where you are from or who you are. For example, my brother is really dark, but I'm really light and we both live in the same place. LOL. Anyways, I'm interested in this lakorn. What matters most is how much effort the actor/actress puts into their character that makes me interested and knowing Pooklook, I won't be disappointed because i know that even if all the other actors suck, she'll do her best. She has done well in all of her roles that I've seen so far and that' almost all of her work. And I have to admit that sometimes I watch lakorns because i know the will make me cry. After crying, i feel so much better because I've let out some of my grief. LOL. Just a weird way to explain it.

I mai roo, I don't know but yeah you made a really good point. Yes, What if they are mixed, dad from the north and mom's ancestor from the south. It could happen cus it's not like Thailand has a law against marriage between different regions. My problem is not really about that. I am more concern with whether or not Pooklook can do the drum dance well. I don't want her to be just passable but I need her to make it look professional and graceful. No, more like I need the nang'ek of this remake to do it graceful like how Noon did it in the original. The drum dance was very important in the finale. I know Pooklook will nail all the emotional scenes, that's not a concern, just the dance.
 
I don't know, people may say that I'm nitpicking too much.

Well the important thing is will Pooklook do the sword dance since Noon did it at the original version???.. The younger sister will do the drum however this is a remake.. Im not sure if the change the story..

This still isn't confirmed. That was just from the Pantip user. The channel will come out and confirm later but it will likely be Pooklook based on that picture of her at dance practice.

Yeah she was a wreck. Got sold into prostitution then the pra'ek left her when he found out and omg the ending had me bawling. Noon and the girl that played her sister played the role perfectly, the father as well. The only weak link was Vee lol.

She started the ET industry on the wrong foot. Confidence and honesty is great but sometimes it may come off as arrogant, rude, and too strong for the Thai society if not done properly. Pooklook took almost all of her issues to social network and vented, which caused more harm than clarification. The words she used weren't the most gentle and humble either. HOWEVER, that was a few years ago when she was still quite young and inexperienced. She has changed a lot. Sometimes, it is hard being a pra'ake and nang'ake because you're expected to live up to a certain good cookie cutter image. Lol

Didn't see the original so I guess I'll tune in to this version. Hopefully I don't get pissed off lol. Been staying away from raeng lakorns. Enjoy them light/cheerful lately.
