About ch7 focusing on action the one with Yui and Cee was actually not so bad. Cee and Yui worked the sexy, strong mature pair very well. Their chemistry worked well cause they are mature and got experience so they could sell the sex appeal of their character really well. Yui is aging like fine wine and thank God she got the role instead of to Min.

Oh gosh it was supposed to be Min's? I've only seen up to epi 3 but yes I cant see min in the role.

I like that Yui is still given nangek roles even if it is action. Plus I think she fits the action roles a little better.

Yuri now has her own production & became freelance, honestly the reason their lakorn had better rating than the jj& taew period lakorn because it was a good action lakorn quality & great action sequences & mature great actor (cee & yuri even the supporting cast) they had a very nice chemistry & it wasn’t boring.

One thing I don’t like about ch7 is the new faces sorry to say but they are average they aren’t manly or flower boy or mature or handsome. Ch7 famous for that mature thai feeling but anyone of the new faces aren’t up to the match & they are all average.

Ch7 had variety of faces throughout the 30+ years that I've been watching. Theres manly, thai and foreign looking, and flower boys looking ones. It's just that most of the grew up, mature, and either moved out to other channels or overseas for schools.

Lololol It’s funny though you said that because I remember back during the Poo, Kwan, Pinky era.. they were all mixed kids at ch7. I still remember they came on to a talk show and the host ask them and they each said they were mix of a European or another Asian ancestry. Lol. And the host was joking that to be beautiful, you should go breed with another race lololol

Now, ch3 is exactly that, the “white wash” bred. Lol. But honestly speaking though I think Yaya is the only true mix that is insanely famous and “ideal” to Thais cuz she’s both youthful and so “glamorized” that other teens want to be like her. I don’t think teens or people in Thailand really care about having the desire to be like other halfies that aren’t Yaya, that much. Lol.

So yea the white wash syndrome mostly skyrocketed bc Yaya fits the “ideal” or desire package that most authentic Thai dream of?? Lol

Everytime someone talks about ch7, I can’t recall the last time I actually saw a ch7 lakorn lolol that’s how bad ch7 is

Honestly their quality is bad but I watch their a lister & my favorite.
in some production sometimes you see all the set & you feel that the shooting place.

Right now I have no time for ch7 lol as long as they’re not available on YouTube I’m not watching bc every other server is very slow for me and quality is POOR.

I like both Now and Pooklook, but I can’t watch their lakorn either. It’s like so slow and just plain boring.

Oddly I watch ch7 lakorns before I watch ch3s lol. Except right now, I dont think I'm watching any of their lakorns. I didnt like Tanwa's lakorns and Boom was boring me too lol. I haven't tried Kwan and Porshe. The only currently airing lakorns I'm watching is GS. Nothing is catching interest, even GS. It was but I'm so so now.

I am currently tuning in to Ch7 more than Ch3. Kat-Thanwa lakorn started great but now turns a bit meh for me. As Porshe and Kwan, they are so funny! Boom one kinda boring. The most appealing is Sang Thong as the actor played Ngo is funny!

Channel 3 evening lakorns also gets better ratings. It's boring with lakorns nowadays. The storyline stalls. And if they get a lakorn that is a hit then they get the couple reunited as soon as possible. They simply have no idea less is more.

Channel 3 has been struggling for a while but their formula still haven't changed much. Their actors/actresses aren't challenged enough. Mature roles are hard to find.

@byebye beat ch3 evening lakorns. Yes, both channels has been struggling with their lakorns. Both need new and different lakorns. Ch7 is struggling but they still gets higher ratings than other channels so with that they think they don’t need to change much, sadly. They don’t even want to promote their actors anymore cus they know most of them will move to different channels.

Just wanted to share this, recently all of ch7 lakorn failing miserably even got their lowest rating 2.9, their big production lakorn with min & poorlook & mookda is at 3 their highest rating was in the 4s.
I think the scripts of lakorn of the big channels have been dull & lacking quality and new cable channels lakorns as competition so it’s intense battlefield.
If in a few year If the cable channels really push the quality of their drama and hire more freelance actors appear then we will have the same situation as in Kdrama land (where people stopped watching the public channels drama (including me) because the quality of the Kdrama in the cable are so much better in every aspect while there a few exceptions for some Kdrama).
