Um..it's been like 6 years but I'm getting annoyed really bad now...

Something is wrong with my computer everytime I start it...it stays on for maybe 10 minutes and then it freezes or starts it self up again....It happens all the time....

Sometimes I just start it and shut it down and restart right away....

Question is what is wrong with it....? I know it's not a virus cuz it became like this since my school install a ethernet on my hardrive...it won't start normally...but I don't want to take the E out or I won't have internet...lol..

What else can I do for it to start normally....I've tried defragmenting, disk clean up...etc..etc that comes with computers...nothing works...

I'm lost though....

Thank you if anyone can help.

I think you should format it. It should be fine. If not then you know there's something wrong on the hardware.

Generally computer programs are softwares.

hey.. i think you get the blue screen of death [bsod], the computer crashes and your computer automatically restarts.

to stop the restarting, this is what you can do so you can read what the bsod says:

right click on my computers>properties>advanced tab>uncheck the box that reads "automatically restarts"

this will stop the computer from restarting everytime it crashes... and so u can write the error down and also google up the problem. hope this helps...

the problem itself can be that the software and hardware is conflicting..?

this is fine advice and all.. but I do see one big problem.

It will take her a lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg time to figure out what the problem is.

Sometimes issues like this can take many many many hours.. I've been thru this before.

A format starts you all fresh and saves you headache.

I would just reformat the harddrive..hehehe... it sounds like you have a software conflict on the startup...

By the way, can anyone name problems that might cause booting to slow down?... I'm kinda doing a research on computer problems..hehe...
