i have this problem twice in this week! >.< i'm trying to fix the connection to be able to be online but it's kept saying that there's no connectivity..... how can it not working? because my connection also is shared with my brother computer by using a router. basically, my brother's computer is working fine while i don't?

i even followed the direction where the page said page cannot be display and it still isn't working ... should i go to get computer fixed from best buy? or do you know how to fix this problem instead of going to the store?

-----

note: i'm using my brother's for a while... i'm waiting for my computer internet to be working if i got some helps... please ... thanks in advance!

go to RUN and type in cmd, and then type in ipconfig
and if you got an IP address and all that crap, it means its got communication with your router and internet or something along those lines. what did u do before it stop working? anything come to mind any little detail?

You did what Reagan told you to do?

Well my question is.. What is the IP you get?

it is something like 192.168.1.?

if its something like 169.etc.etc.etc then something isn't right.

Now here's what you do. If its 169.?.?.? then type in "ipconfig /release" then after its done.. type in "ipconfig /renew"

give it some time for the command to do its thing. Don't freak out and close it.

see if that helps.

yeah it's something like this 192.168.?.1 so should i go ahead type ipconfig/release even though it's not 169.etc.etc.etc ?

yea do that.

Also try reinstalling your network driver. Shouldn't be hard. Make sure you have the driver first before you do that though.

usually reinstalling the driver fixes silly problems like this.
