creating zip files

This may be the easiest thing to do, but I need help on how to create a zip file. Please help me!

When you are in my documents, right click and you scroll down to New then click the option that says folder. It will make a new folder for you and all you have to do is drag the files you want to be zipped into that new folder. Once everything you want is in the new folder, right click again and this time choose the option that says send and choose the one that says compressed(zip folder). Sounds easy enough right? If not just post in here and I can do step by step screen shots for you. Or if you want you can always pm me.
