DISCRIMINATION (that's the actual title hahhaha...i mispelled it the first time around)
===========================================================

dallas recently passed a law for landlords to be fined if they are renting out to undocumented immigrants. however, they are not fining businesses that are hiring undocumented workers. quite ironic huh?!

the reason for passing such an ordinance to primarily keep the town "white," as many of the United Farmers Branch claim. This UFB had look forward to being sued for passing such an ordinance.

RIDICULOUS, i tell u. this is the 21st century and such laws are being passed left and write. there are many flaws with such ordinances and in many cities that I know, they are trying to pass a similar measure to turn landlords into immigration officers. As a property owner, do u really want to play that role (aside from being how unjust this policy is altogether)?

Here's the article: Dallas Suburb Passes Land Ordinance Against Immigrants

let's hear ur thoughts.

OMG, D, BABY, DARVIL JUST GAVE YOU A COMPLIMENT...AND I DON'T THINK HE REALIZED IT!!! LMAO

ALSO, ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE, DO YOU KNOW HOW STRICTLY THEY WILL BE KEEPING "TABS" ON THE LANDLORDS? I MEAN, EVEN THOUGH NOTHING ASTOUNDS ME ANYMORE IN THIS COUNTRY...IN TERMS OF UNMERIT ACTS...I STILL RESIDE MY FAITH IN THE FEW EMPATHIC INDIVIDUALS WHO MAY RICHOUSLY UNDERGROUND THEMSELVES FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY. IT IS VERY DESOLATE NEWS, HOWEVER...BUT I STILL BELIEVE THAT MANY VOICES WILL ULTIMATELY CHIME FOR THE GOOD...JUST AS IT HAS DEMONSTRATED SO IN THE PAST...UMM, MINUS ALL THE BAD SHIOT THO...

LOL I live in Dallas and I will tell yah guys now that its not going to be as easy as they think because there is a great number of undocumented immigrants. But I do think its heavily discriminant that they would pass that ordinance for landlords and not the same for businesses ... Its a joke to think about it in the first place and even though I live in Dallas I have to say that sometimes the rules doesn't apply to everyone ... with the law its the same ... it all depends on the area of dallas you are in .... and the law are somewhat lenient towards some people ... and also this is probably the mayors attempt at upgrading Dallas ... Laura Miller has been trying to do so since she was elected to office ... and so I continue to blab about I have no clue so I will shut up now or I will make myself look even more ... lol dumber? I guess lol

but on a more serious note... lmfao! seriously, this is gonna do crap, so what, people will continue to come into the US illeagally and manage to take over the country.

they don't have home, they'd manage to live on the streets, eh just as long as they can work.

yeah it's stupid to descriminate, but gosh we need some space, spanish minorities are the leading minority population in the united states, they are about to take over the country and turn us into spanish speaking people.

they come here for freedom, but yet they refuse to use the language, forcing many to be jobless because you must be bi-lingual and speak spanish!!

ha dear tookie...i'm not quite sure if that was out to me our Laura Miller (the Dallas Mayor). however, if it were directed towards me, i'm sure it's pure sarcasm to poke-fun at my mispellings and inadequate grammar or his belief in the existing flaws of "my logic".

anyhooo...yeah ur right on the dot with the immigration issue tookie. that's why i luv ya! cuz ur mind's so sexy. :spin:

and so I continue to blab about I have no clue so I will shut up now or I will make myself look even more ... lol dumber? I guess lol
no no tina, u do not sound dumb AT ALL...u've got a very legitimate opinion and it's so interesting to hear it from you, a real dallas resident. i'm currently in so. cal and i just can't imagine something like this passing. they are trying to push for a similar ordinance in a town nearby my current resident and it absolutely pisses me off  so i'm really cheering on the ACLU to tear and rip this unconstitutional ordinance into pieces :arrg: there are gardeners and wonderful ppl who work around my area, of whom i consider great ppl and friends, and they are practically forced to go from TJ and back up here to work every day just to have a roof over their head. it's ridiculous. they don't even get fully paid to do what they do. -_-

however, ning, dear i understand ur frustration with the spanish language. but u know the reality is that it is a cultural and global environment overall, everywhere u go. so i don't see why it hurts that spanish is integrated. it's not mandatory, it's just up to you if u'd like to have the ability to communicate with ppl, like it would be if u went anywhere else in the world. no one can force u to learn it; u can choose to or u don't it's beautiful to have more than one language...u can flex ur brain musculos too ;)

no the spanish language is not hurting but it's a barrior to every american that doesn't speak spanish. it's great to pick up another language but when it boils down, the universal language should be english used everywhere in the united states to conduct business. and if we are talking along the lines of business, the other language in which should be utilized is chinese, because of the massive business being conducted between the US and china.

i know it's quiet unfair for the spaniards. and i'm speaking amongst illegals, but it's also not fair for the legals that are jobless because all those illegal immigrants that comes in and takes their job for a bargain at the employers' expense. therefore, i just think that at the political stance they are trying to do something such as limit their residency, but yet like i said before, it's not going to do anything because they managed to come this far, nothing is going to stop them. same goes for any illegal aliens in the united states, if they've come this far from their native country, being restricted by some landlords to rent property isn't going to stop them. but this doesn't mean i am for nor against this.

additionally with residency, houses are sky high like it's never been because of shortages in housing in many areas like where i live because it's being occupied by many illegal aliens. but, we can also relate this to gas pricing, electricity which went up by 6% around my city, and also the other taxes that rose. but more and more houses are being built because of the scarcity in residency, then the supply and demand theory comes into play and everyone else is left homeless because they can't afford to live in one.

anyways, without them, who'd make earrings in the factory?
