HELP WANTED!!!!

I used DVD Decrypter to rip my videos from my Sony DVD Camcorder...but still can't do anything afterwards...the files are in .VOD format...i know that any DVD player can play it...but what I really want to do is I want to drag the files into Window Movie Maker so I can create a video but with .VOD files it won't work....it says not supporting files.

Anybody? Help Me...I'm Reallyd desperate in needs so offer me something to made my day. I been looking for it.....i mean do we have to convert the .DOV format into MVP or what? HELP!!!

i have a sony dvd cam also. what i did was rip the dvds from the discs with simpledivx that darvil has a tutorial on.

that would pull out all your files as a avi file and you can edit avi files on windows movie maker. dvd files such as vob cannot be edited on windows movie maker... well at least i've tried and it never worked.

from many things i did i thought it's best to rip it all out because of the chapters and titles of the dvds would get stuck if u did it any other way. i used to just copy the dvd and cut the vob files to my liking, but after i played it, it'd get stuck everytime the chapters were changing.

hope i didn't confuse u because i'm horrible at explaining as darvil told me
