I've spent SO much time searching for this movie, but I can't seem to find it. Some nights I go on google and try searching for this movie, and I open up youtube to try and find this movie.
This movie is really old. I saw it as kid probably around 1999 or earlier.
It's a Chinese movie with two girls that look like twins. They saw each other at the market as a kid. They grow up and find each other again. One of the girls is a tom-girl. She learns how to fight. She usually wears a white outfit with white pants and red strings that tie around her calves. She has a master, a woman, who taught her how to fight. Now that I think of it, the girl's name is Nkauj Hli (Moon). The other girl, whose name is Nkuaj Hnub (Sun). She has a hairy, white dog, and she's rich. She normally dresses in purple and white.
I remember the scene where they go into a dressing room, and switch clothes. The rich girl makes the tom-girl wear her clothes and dance. There's another scene towards the end where the guy named Pheng knows that one girl is a fake. The rich girl is swinging and the guy throws a rock at the swing, and she flies off the swing. He knows that this isn't the girl, but after the two girls switch clothes, the tom-girl goes to the swing. The two girls switch back and forth with the guy.
At the end, I think the rich girl dies. The tom-girl holds the rich girl in her arms. The rich girl spits blood out.
The last thing I can remember is that the hairy dog can tell the difference between the two girls. He barks at the tom-girl, but he doesn't bark back at the rich girl.
