OMG, i love their wedding without any fancy stuff .. ASR was just MAD HOT being so angry and marrying the love of his life like that. Poor khushi but gosh, you have one of the HOTTEST hubby ever! So don't feel bad .. don't cry na. 
 
I really wish we have SARUN in the newer version .. i might have felt a deeper connection and forgive Sholak easily if it were to be Barun portraying it lol

Oh yeah, ASR was CRAZY HOT when he married Khushi!  :crush:  Love that intense and angry young man who hurt and love so deeply!  It was like I have to make her mine no matter what!  It wasn't just to help his Di but he was saving his own heart!!
 
The newer version can't be compared to our show!  I've seen a couple of episodes but didn't feel the same pull as IPK!  Sholak is a psycho who came from a very dysfunctional family whose father is very abusive!  The women in this show really suffers a lot!  Sholak even slapped the n'ek!  That is a total turn off!  ASR had manhandled Khushi but he never slapped her!!

Sholak can't even compare to 5% of ASR. Just the fact that he was able to life a hand against a woman alone, never mind that this is a woman he supposedly love, already disqualify him from any comparison. You were right. ASR might manhandle Khushi in anger, but he had never humiliated her that way nor will he ever will. Even in the beginning of the series, there was a limit that even ASR wouldn't even cross. 
 
From the epsiodes of the newer version that I skimmed through, it looks more like Sholak doesn't even love her. He just wants to control and humiliate her and prove himself a "bigger man." I mean, come on, the episode where he forced her to do that ceremony where she had to drink the water that was used to clean his foot was just plain disgusting. I give the girl credit for dumping it away instead. But it was such a turn off for that couple. They don't even have chemistry to start off in the first place. 
 
Honestly, I think season two is a disgrace to the original. They should had just leave the the series alone and let it end there.

I so agree with you!  How could this guy ever redeemed himself?!!  I didn't watch that episode but only heard about it!  What he did was highly degrading to women!!  Sholak's reason to ruin a girl's life is because of his bruised ego!!!!  Definitely not as compelling as ASR.  I have no sympathy for Sholak maybe it's because of the poor script/storyline or acting!  As for ASR,  I always feel for this man his pain, regrets, anguish...everything.  I'm still blown away by Barun's superb acting and how he made ASR so very real!

as for the mp3, I'll take them. I love acoustics and ballads. In fact, they're my favorite genre in music. At the moment, I'm in love with Meri Teri, you know that song that Arnav and Kushi first dance together for the dancing competition before their first marriage. I love that song and it's cover by Arjun.

I don't think this man could ever redeem himself, at least in my book. He's too degrading and humiliating to me.
 
On the other side however, didn't most Thai P'ek degrade their woman the same way, LOL. I mean those RAWR scenes. NOt that I will forgive Sholak. It's just something I just thought of.
 
As for ASR, yes, he is so very much real to me. In fact, I'm rewatching the series on my comp right now and is laughing, crying, and feeling his anguish. I'm at the part where he's starting to reveal his love for Khushi and will soon found out about her relationship with Shyam. Then the force marriage gonna happen. :( I don't know if I will be wathcing it though. Migh as well skip it. I'm too spoiled by Arnav's love for khushi at the end of the series to be able to digest his bad treatment of her now. lol. 
 
But man, Barun's acting. Over the top. Makes my Nadech looks like a boy.

@katelyn, Thank you for the mp3! they're great for my mp3 collections. I'm definitely loving mar javaan! it's so beautiful. I saw a beautiful and fantastic mv for Geet with this song and it was fantastic. I fell in love with it then. Too bad there isn't a good mv with it for our lovely and addicting couple, Arshi. I found this trailer last night and couldn't stop myself from laughing so hard. It was very well done and for once, our Arnav actually looked dumbstruck for once. lol.
