finally got to see this movie.
I LOVE IT!
You know... I think I'd rather be teleporting to different parts of the world with David Rice than jumping from tree to tree with Edward Cullen. lol
I thought it was a nice subtle romantic/superhero/scientific movie. It had a little bit of everything. I do agree with some of you though. I wished they explained how jumpers started jumping.
Anywho, this movie is loosely based on a novel by the same name. In the novel, he actually discovered that he could teleport when tries to get away from the hands of his abusive father. His mother was also abused by his father, but was later killed in a hijacked airplane. And as for Millie, he met her later on in life and not when they were 5. The novel wasn't emphasizing a superhero type situation like the movie. It was rather more of an emotional struggle of a young man. He'd try to get away from the distress by jumping/teleporting, but in the end, he had to face his demons.
