Hi I need some info...I haven't taken a math course since 2001 so it's not all that fresh in my head.....but how do you measure the area of a house....I need to know the area of my house....do I use

Length * Width * Height or something....someone please give me an example...I tried searching on Yahoo and all but it just gives me a formula of a triangle, square, rectangle and trapezoid....I'm not joking I seriously can't remember....

here i draw u an example of an area of a house

notice how i divide the area into shape so that i can use the formula of the rectangle then i just add the area together to get the area of the house

10 x 30 = 300 ft is one shape
25 x 20 = 500 ft is the another shape

total area of the house is 800 sq. ft.

hope this help
