I took a short road trip today & the songs from Saranyu & Nampueng’s version came on my playlist. I suddenly missed this lakorn so much & I loved loved loved this version. I can really use a lakorn in this genre these days. I was just thinking that if they remake this, I’d like to see Nadech as P’Klau & either Mew or Prang as Thongkau. I don’t know if Mew can sing, but Nadech & Prang can. Or, even Pope will be a great choice.

This is soooooo up in Nadechs alley!! He can totally looktung sing and would make a very cool pKlau haha n’ek should be Taew Bc both are good work dialects and style.
Ch3 really needs to remake this I agree!!! I want Nadech for the role!
Oh my I can totally see Prang as Thongkau!! I'm not a huge fan of hers but she would totally fit the part lol. I can picture her in the beehive hair and ridiculous super long and thick eyelashes lol. She would look totally gorgeous! Lol I can also see Preaw as the sister.

This one is hard to remake. Saranyu and Nampung was just perfect! Ch3 and ch7 remakes just didn’t fit. Kob/Pol, Ja/Por wasn’t good or memorable imo, even though I like all the actors in both remakes. Well, if they do remake this again... Prang would look good as Tong Kuaw, but can’t think of who will fit the male lead from ch3. If ch7 remake this, Weir would fit the male lead perfectly, as for the female lead... maybe Green cus she can sing.
Taew is a good choice too! Does she sing?
Her singing....let’s just say, acting fits her better. I know she’s taking singing lessons, but it’s not the best. However, she is very well with the dialects.

I don’t think n’ek has to be professional singer at all... most ch3 alisters girls can’t sing.
The original cast weren’t professional singers either so I think they’ll tweek all the singing for any non-singer.
I just know Na can shake, dance, move and does his country singing well. Hehe

Okay, I saw these pics of Taew the other day and I instantly thought yes, she needs to be in the new remake of MRLT. She pulls off the look really well with the big hair and nice curls. It’s very pretty. I can still see Nadech leading the p’ek role.

Teaw look great in that country style look, but I prefer Ch7 remaking because they have male actors looking more Thai like Weir or Michael. Theses two actors fits the role more than ch3 actors. For Tong-kwa role, I see Sammie(she look great in the country style in that lakorn with Posh) and Bopa role, I see Now.
