OKAY...me, I may sound a bit on the negative side but I don't want to point fingers at anybody until I hear from all sides of this "Noob Nom Phaj" movie war. Not that I'm on Herlinda or Nom Phaj's side but I just don't want to jump into conclusions. I'm pretty sure the truth lies somewhere between Leng, Nom Phaj, and Herlinda.
I would have to give Nom Phaj a lot of credit for making this movie what it is too. Without his character and his willingness to be the bad guy...this movie wouldn't have been what it is neither.
If you felt strongly that Herlinda and Nom Phaj had stolen you ideas and movie...the question would be...What are you going to do about it? Letting people know on forums like this helps but it doesn't do you any good. While you're throwing your frustrations out for your fans to know...Herlinda is collecting money. Maybe lots of money. I'm pretty sure she's enjoying counting her green cash right now. So...as a fan...I'm going to ask you....WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Some producers are here for "ten years" and their movies may be "lame" as YM_GIRL put it...but they must have done something right to be able to stay afloat that long. You got your start fairly good...the right place at the right time...with the right people to help you achieve some success on you movies. You should keep it that way. Lots of producers and directors come and go...they fade away very quickly. You don't want to be among those. You want to be with those who have lasted "ten years."
If I can give you an advice or two, I would say...stay HUMBLE and keep MOVING forward. If you are good at what you do...and truly know what you're doing, I'm sure you'll last at least as long as those producers who had been there for ten or more years. Don't let the success of this one movie "Khib Ciaj Khib Tuag" fool you. Success comes and go. Just make sure you do things right so you outlast HERLINDA. She's been there a long time and I'm pretty sure she'll be here many more years to come. I'm not on her side but I'm just giving you a quick reality check. WHATEVER YOU DO, JUST MAKE SURE YOU OUTLAST EVERYONE ELSE. Otherwise, those other producers whom some of your fans considered their movies, "LAME" will have the last laugh.

Nom Phaj is a very talented actor. I give him a lot a lot of credit for his acting skills. That I will agree on 100%. But to become very popular and wide known actor it goes both ways. If there isn't a great story for Nom Phaj to star in how is it possible for him to shine this far. It's a two way street. Have you seen his other movies? His acting skills in them are pretty good too but compare to Khib Ciaj Khib Tuag his acting in here was far more better. Why? B/C I realize that for Nom Phaj to be an even better actor that he already is... he actually needs to act to the right scenes with his acting abilities. This realization came to me when I shot my 2nd movie when Nom Phaj played a minor role as the father of Xab Thoj's supporting actor Haj Hawj. That's when Xab and I came up with the idea of making a movie with Nom Phaj as one of the main actors. If Nom Phaj did not star in this movie his reputation is likely to be not known so highly and moved up the ladder so quickly. There fore I say credits goes to both person and Nom Phaj should of respected Link Pictures for giving him the opporunity to shine this far.
But what did he do at then end? He screw me over when he join in with a partnership of making the continuation of my movie with Herlinda. You think he would at least have the courtsey to ask me for permission in making this continuation. If Herlinda is such an awesome movie maker and writer and Nom Phaj was such a talented actor with excellent stories and Kooj was also great actor with wonderful talents ....Why didn't Herlinda and Nom Phaj and Kooj Hawj shot a whole new complete movie? Why do the continuation of my movie? Why not make a new movie.
B/c it's easy money. All they had to do was shoot the continuation change the name of the title and let the word out that's it's the continuation of Khib Ciaj Khib Tuag people will buy it just b/c the first part was already a hit.
So what am I going to do about this? Honestly it's likely they will get away with it that's why they choose to do what they did. But to stop this from happening again to any other production you as hmong supporters need to join hands and not continue to support people like this out there. If you the consumer keeps supporting them all it will do is make them continue their dirty deeds. I leave that chocie for each of you to decide. I can not force you to not support them. All I can do is bring it's attention everyone. I'm not god or a judge or the president....therefore I can't stop them. Bottom line it's up to the consumer. If the consumer does not support this kind of work people like Herlinda, Kooj and Nom Phaj will eventually stop their dirty work. B/C they know if they continue this kind of work no one will support it or have respect for them. But if they keep getting the money from the consumers it will not stop here. Sometime along the way it will likely happen again. Mark my words on that.

That I need to talk to Kooj and Nom Phaj b/c they told her it was okay to do it. How professional is that of? How is it possible that she' not responsible for the continuation when she knew fully well what movie she is paying for. She's the one who's paying the money to make this movie possible. Without her participation this movie would have never taken place. If she had taken the correct procedure in making this continuation we not have this problem....the Nom Phaj war like mrhmoobyaj said would have not happened. To this day she still denies being the responsibe party or at least one of the responsible party of this continuation. However I found out what ticks her off and we are in a process of discussing this issue face to face when Nom Phaj comes over.
So if any of you are are brave enough...I encourge you to go up to Herlinda and Nom Phaj and ask them why they did what they did and why they felt is was right to do it and what gave them the idea that they have the right to do it. And when you get an answer please don't be shy and share with us too. I'm am dying to know what they have to say to their fans and supporters.
As for me when we do get a final answer I will be more than gladly to share with you all. B/C something has to come out of this.

I believe as fan of links its okay to share his frustrations. y? because a person who keeps everything is not good for you...its also good that leng is spreading the words...it at least shows that he cares to even go through all this problem..if herlinda don't want to talk about and said she doesn't have anything to do with it (from leng) then maybe the first step for her is stop avoiding the truth...jus my thoughts....if i can come to the new year i would ask herlinda for the truth and will not leave until i get an asnwer...i would not take "i am not responsible for this" as answer...i will tell her striaght up because i she can't hang up on me...i am talking face to face with her....believe me i will do this if i was there...i did it to Dr. Tom...ask him some question without being afriad that i might offend him......so those who can go be brave she can't do anything but tell the truth....like i said i would call her but i think she will jus hang up on me....
By the way sarn peeps, I think everything Leng from Linkpictures is telling us is likely the truth. After re-watching the movie again I see a lot of concidences that doesn't make sense at all. Why? I'll tell you why....

Well...Leng then said of course he knew that already...About Herlinda not using her production on the cover and to check at the back cover if her number is there and at the end of the movie if her name pops up as contact.
Indeed it is there. Herlinda's number is the one where it says to order copies called XXX.XXXX The production logo on the movie says SRV and Kooj Hawj's address is on the back of the cover but not number for contacting.
Remeber Leng said she did not add her logo or production name on the cover b/c that way she can get away with saying that she is not responsbile for the continuation and Kooj and Nom Phaj is. That the logo SKV belongs to Kooj and Nom Phaj not her. That they are the responsible party. Well...well..well...
I tell you this. HERLINDA VANG is INDEED A VERY VERY SMART WOMAN AND WE ALL HAVE BEEN UNDERESTIMATING HER. She definitely had us fool and played along with Leng. Why you ask....Hmm...
Her production name is not on the cover but when you look at the tape itself you will see it stating in black letterings along with the title of her movie saying HERR'S VIDEO PRODUCTION ON IT. What happen to SRV production at this point? WHY IS IT ON THE TAPE IT DOESN'T SAY SRV PRODUCTION BUT HERR'S VIDEO INSTEAD.... BUT ON THE COVER IT SAYS SRV? DON'T YOU THINK IF THIS MOVIE IS INDEED PRODUCED BY SRV THEIR NAME SHOULD OF APPEAR ON THE TAPE AND NOT HERR'S VIDEO. I believe Herlinda did this on purpose to fool everyone. let's get over it well i don't care about this topic anymore because i love the movie, of course i do. so guys, just wait for fresno new year. some of you guys say that you guys are going to talk to herlinda at fresno new years, well i think we maybe can't find her there because she already divorce her ex husband. if we see her at her ex-husband booth then do u think that they divorce for real or they got back together well let's find out during fresno new year
Just found out she is indeed going to be at the new year. Her booth is the one on Chance St. asile next to the fariground stage. The one that has an opening to the fairground. Not sure if she's going to use her banner since they are divorce. Wait....On a second thought she might. Since on the movie she cheated from Link Pictures she used Herr's Video production on it. Nws muaj muaj ntsej muag heev li os. Nws lub ntsej muag tua tua kawg nkaus li. It's all about money to her. But hey watch out if you ever come across her she might stab you on back without you knowing it. To me it's people like her who brings down the all the hard work others put into the hmong name.
Sorry...not to offend any Herlinda fans out there but to me I no longer look up to her production or herself. She's a scum bag for what she did.
