Chapter 1


"Dao!! Dao!! Hurry up already!" shouted Niran as he grabbed Dao's hand.

"Well sorry.. I can't help it that I'm slow."

"Come on.. Hurry... We're gonna be late..."

"I'm trying to climb as fast I can.. Why don't you try climbing in heels.."

"NEVER!! I WOULD LOSE MY IMAGE!!"

"Oh whatever.. you have no image in the first place.. Hurry!! Pull me up."

"OH MY GOSH!! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN EATING?! YOU MAY BE PUNY BUT YOU WEIGH MORE THAN A BULL!!"

Niran used up all his might to pull Dao up.

"OH SHUT UP YOU LIAR.. I just need to lay off some junk food... erm.. that's all.."

"YEAH SURE.. I BET YOU WEIGH MORE THAN A PREGNANT WOMAN!"

Dao smacked Niran in the back of his head.

"HOW RUDE!!! I'M LEAVING YOU BEHIND NOW!"

She quickly sprinted off making Niran unable to catch him. She kept shaking her head trying to forget what Niran said.

"WEIGH MORE THAN A BULL!! WEIGH MORE THAN A PREGNANT WOMAN!!! AHHHH!! I HATE YOU NIRAN!!!" shouted Dao.

"Oh boy! She may be heavy, but she sure is fast!"

"DAO!! DAO!! WAIT UP!! DAO!!" shouted Niran.

Niran breathing heavily. "Huff-huff.. How far can she go.. I'm beat already."

Niran looked at the road. "C--C--CAR!!!! DAO!!! DAO!!!!"

"WHAT IS IT NOW??!!" shouted Dao.

Her eyes widened as she saw the car coming closer to her.

"C--C--CAR!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!" Dao screamed as she closed her eyes.

There was a mysterious man walking the opposite side of Dao's direction. He heard Dao's loud screaming.

"You got to be kidding me!" he thought to himself as he starts running in her direction.

The car began beeping at Dao as it got closer and closer.

"MOVE!! MOVE!! MY CAR BREAKS AREN'T WORKING!!" shouted the driver.

The mysterious man made it to Dao and carried her away to safety.

The car swerved around and began screeching.

Chapter 2

Dao slowly opened her eyes. Everything around her was blurry except for the structure of his face.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"I.. erm.. Thank you."

"I must get going now then."

"Erm.. Wait.. Thank you."

"Uhh.. You just said that.. Well anyways, I must go now."

"Erm.. I mean wait.. What is your name? Mine's Dao."

He smiled at Dao. "My name is Mongkut. I'm glad you're alright, but I'm sorry I can't stay much longer."

He started walking back on the opposite road.

Dao began stuttering. "W-w-ait..."

"DAO!! DAO!! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" shouted Niran.

"I erm... I'm fine."

"WOW.. I WAS SO SCARED!!.. BUT IT WAS SO COOL THOUGH!! YOU WERE LIKE BATMAN.. NO.. SUPERMAN."

"WHAT???"

"YOU JUMPED HEKKA COOL!! THE CAR WAS LIKE... 3 CM AWAY FROM YOU BUT.. WHOOOOOSH!!! YOU QUICKLY JUMPED TO THE SIDE."

"NIRAN!!!! You should lay low on the coffee.. You're not getting enough sleep. You're talking crazy talk. Besides, somebody saved me." Dao stared at the road.

"Yea sure.." Niran looked at the road with Dao. "It must've been Superman then who helped you." laughed Niran.

Dao punched him in the stomach. "You're so immature."

"Mongkut! You're late!" shouted his mother.

"I helped someone on the road."

"Sure. Like I'm supposed to believe that."

"Then believe whatever you want then."

"Fine. Tell me the person's name you saved today. And their information."

"Mom.. How would I know? It was just a quick help."

"See.. you lied."

"Mom.. Fine you want answers."

"Yes. I've been waiting."

"All I remember is that her name is Dao."

"Wow Dao.. Really?"

"Whatever Mom. I'm leaving."

"Wait.. MONGKUT!" his mother shouted. "SAM!! GO SEARCH FOR THE PERSON DAO FOR ME. THIS INSTANT!"

"YES MADAM!"

"Hmmm.. I wonder if I can believe my son."

Mongkut was in his room thinking to himself.

"Dao... It's all her fault.. Because of her I'm late.. and Mom goes whacko!"

"I bet mom is gonna search for her."

"Besides. What was the rush anyways?"

"I'm sleepy. I should get some shut eye."

"DAO!! DAO!!"

"WHAT?"

"What's up with you? You changed after that superman incident earlier today."

"No I didn't."

"Yes you did."

"NIRAN! OUT OF MY ROOM!"

"SEE! WHAT DID I SAY!"

"NIRAN! MUST I REPEAT MYSELF?"

"FINE FINE."

Niran got out of the room.

Dao sighed as she hugged her teddy bear. "Mr. Mongkut." she smiled. "Where are you now?"

"Mom.. Do I really have to go to that school?" asked Dao.

"Why of course you do. I already paid for your tuition."

"What if I paid you back?"

"Honey.. Where are you going to get the money from?"

"I'll work!"

"No one is going to accept you."

"Why wouldn't they?"

"Because you're still too young. And besides you haven't even gotten your diploma yet."

"But I'm going to get it in two years. Why can't you just let me stay in the other school."

"Because I already paid for you tuition. Besides you were always complaining anyways."

"Mom.. That was two years ago.. I like it now."

"Well too bad.. You're going!"

"Awwwe man!"

"Mother.. What are you doing?" asked Mongkut as he rubbed his eyes.

"I'm preparing you clothes for school."

His opened wide as he stared at his mother. "What are you talking about? I just got out of private school. I'm just barely on my break!"

"HOW DARE YOU USE THAT TONE ON ME YOUNG MAN!"

"Mother.. I didn't even raise my tone yet.. Only you.."

"NO QUESTIONS ASKED! YOU NO LONGER WILL BE ATTENDING THAT PRIVATE SCHOOL!"

"You kidding me right? I tried to get out of it so many times but you stopped me."

"Well.. that was then."

"Then where am I going?"

"To a public school."

"WHAT?!?!?! WHY?!?!"

"Because I said so."

"Mother.. How can you do this?"

"Because I can. Hurry up and get ready soon. I'm going to take you to your new school."

Mongkut pulled his blanket over his head. "I'm not going."

"Oh dear. You are such a pain." She snapped her fingers. "Move it."

"Yes Madam." The servants removed the blanket and carried Mongkut off.

"LET GO!!!"

"Sorry sir.. It's our duty."

Mongkut looked at his mother. "Where's father?"

"Out somewhere and about.."

"Dammit!!"
