The following week Patta appear before the judge and was put to the stand while the prosecutor cross examine him. There was no lawyer on the defenses side beside Mr.Tia , the probation officer that was appointed to handle his case. Mr.Taksorn and Aff was the only family member that came to court , Patta was touch but at the same time sad because they have to hear his confession .
"why did you kill your mother .." said the prosecutor while pacing himself back and fore
"no reason"
The prosecutor smirked and turn toward the jury to justify what been said by the defenses, "there we have it , a man with no reason but to kill his own mother by poisoning her , according to the lab result he repeatedly poison her for several week ! He could easily stop but he ..didn't!!! His intention is to make his mother suffer !!!"?
A throbbing pain coming from inside Patta's chest was bursting in tear after hearing the prosecutor's statement!!! He suddenly have flash back into his childhood memory , when Rosa was holding him in her arm and swinging him in the air. The laughter and smile from her was so real he could almost feel her presence before his eye , it sadden him so so deeply that tears begin to form . He no longer hear what the prosecutor was saying or shouting because his mind is lingering in the past , when he was love and care by Rosa . She was the shelter he run too when he was depress , she was more than just a mother she was the only warmth he ever known. He ended her life ..he kill her , even though she forgive him but it doesn't erase the guilt that tormented his mind and soul .
"im guilty . Please , do not question me anymore "? he bang his fist onto the bench handle to silent the prosecutor and bitterly bit his lip to stop it from trembling , tear begin to flow down his face . The jury was scar by his action and have a positive impression , the man is insane ! But when they saw the tear and hear his soft cries , they begin to have sympathize toward the young man . Mr.Taksorn and Aff couldn't bear to see him in grief , they know Patta is hurt by all the question and assumption made by the prosecutor but there nothing they can do but witness all his pain in the court room .
"young man , calm down . I will not have this in my court.." said the Judge and then waited for several sec "if you plead guilty . The punishment could be a death sentence or life. Is there anything you want to say to the jury ? This is your last chance"
"I..I"? he look toward the people stand and saw the love of his life smiling at him . O' how it felt so wonderful to see those smile in a time when he most needed. He can see the tear glittering in her eye but yet she continue to smile , as if she understand and willing to accept what ever decision he made . Patta turn to face the jury and said "Please give me a fair sentence . I had committed a sin by killing the woman that loved me more anything in this world . A person like me doesn't deserve to be happy or forgiven by anyone. I'm a monster. Put me out of my miserable"? he finish by closing his eye and imagine himself embracing his real mother one last time.
Aff was overwhelm by his speech and quickly rise from her seat to exit out the door , she walk away with tear stain on her face . Yes. This must be the end. She want to hate him but she can't because she love him and the tear that shredding , is for herself . She is stupid for loving such a selfish person! Foolish to want something so forbidden so sinful yet her heart yearn for him . Love is painful, from the moment she decided to wait for him and no matter what's the outcome is , there no turning back with this feeling .

The court was dismissed and the final hearing will be next week. Patta was escorted by two officer, they return him back into the dark cell and slide the bar door shut. Mr.Taksorn came out the court room and search for his daughter, he found her sitting outside on the bench crying.

The following day at Bankok correction center , Patta was brought up to the main office to sign a release paper . He was puzzle and ask the officer lady "who bond me out ?"
"me .."said Mr.Taksorn and sign below his son signature

"I believe in you , it's not like you going to escape . Beside, it just money but you're my son .."he smile and waited till the officer unlock the handcuff . Patta's hand was free , he immediately put it together and bow his head toward his father . Thanking him.

Patta change into a suit and tie , before he left the men restroom he caught his own reflection in the mirror . He look wore out and there was facial hair all around his chin . They left the police station and went into the car that was waiting for them outside. During the whole trip back to the residence , Patta couldn't help but wonder why all the sudden his father is willing to bond him out when he particularly request no help from anyone ? But on the other thought , he was happy because this mean he will get to see little Aff before the court hearing . The car stop at Taksorn's residence.
He got out of the car and stood there gazing at the house where he once live with ..Rosa, sweet memory washes over and all he can see was smile from the woman that rise him with love and warmth. He held his breath and walk across the lawn , following behind his father , all the way to the back yard . He froze and said "what is all this ? " he turn to his father to search for answer

Patta turn his attention back to the scenery before him , amaze at how it was arrange with flower of all type displaying its beauty along the sidewalk, it trail all the way to the center where a heart shape pillars stood and on it was decorated with hundred of red roses wrapping it's vine all around the gap and on the grass was thousand of white roses scattering on the ground like heavenly cloud . The scene was beautiful and his heart was racing once he realize the whole picture. This can't be true . It must be a dream and he is about to wake up any minute . Suddenly , in the mist of his wondering she appear before his eye , in a white bridal dress and holding a bouquet . He must be in ..heaven .

Kaping and Palin was watching them from up the window , they were happy for the couple and refuse to attend the ceremony because they were embarrass and doesn't want the awkwardness to ruin the atmosphere .

Later that evening Sorna and Lilly came over to graduate the couple , their father had explain everything on the phone and they fully understand the situation .The newly wed went to change their clothes and came down stair holding hand. They went into the dinning room to have dinner with Mr.Taksorn , Sorna and Lilly.
"Hey! P'Patta! Why is there tear on your face !! Your soup is over flowing " Sorna said jokily
"you were alway the girly one in the family .." Lilly laughed and was please to see Patta smiling back .
"you two never change , always teasing me .." he sigh , "thank you for coming it really mean a lot to me"
Sorna and Lilly was contented, Patta was their big brother even though they were from difference mother but they had grow up together as close sibling and regardless of his past deed there was no room for hate or judgment in their heart because everything is already decided by fate and they only wish for everyone to be happy and everything else to fall into it place in the future .
After dinner, the couple say good bye to Sorna and Lilly because the two sister have to return back home to their husband and family. The sibling embrace each other one last time before departing.
"hey , little Aff ! Your child better be a girl !" said Lilly
"wait !! We both have girls already ! The family need a boy !!" said Sorna
Patta turn to his wife to search for the answer but she shyly look away and continue to wave good bye to the arguing sister , who was heading toward their car and drove off . Afterward , they went back into the house and walk up the stair into the hall way . They split away heading toward their own room but suddenly they stop and turn around , they stood there smiling at each other

Why is she blushing like a child and if his teasing continue surely it will burn her cheek! He approach her and grab her hand, he lead the way to her room . Once they got inside he turn around to close the door.
"you want to shower first ?"
"you go on first . I'll goes get your clothes in the other room" Aff didn't wait for a reply and quickly brush pass him but his hand caught her wrist and pull her back.
"wait . we can shower and change in the morning but for now we don't need any clothes"
