Because most places now a days are looking for people with experience I suppose and the economy is bad maybe? LOL depends on what time frame the lakorn is set in I guess but by the looks if it it looks like current. Also she's really young too 19 I guess most people won't hire someone so young

Probably she is pregnant with her baby. Most women decide to stay in situations like these because of the baby.
