Newer actors and lakorn

I feel that the newer acting generation is not as talented as the older ones. Everyone is so new in their roles that sometimes I can't watch it anymore. I end up watching the old lakorns I have recorded. Second, I feel that Thai lakorns has sucked so much. The stories are all the same and you could actually predict what will happen later into the lakorn. I don't have the same anticipation as I used to when new lakorns' come out. **taking a deep sigh** I'm still addicted to thai lakorn--just not as crazy as I was before.

hahha..that's how i view the lakorn world until jao sao banrai came out..and i guess..from watching it..their acting haven't improve much that's because they have just start their career..and from my viewpoint..considering the fact that it has only been like their 2-4 lakorns..there's still room improve..i haven't gave up hope on thai lakorn..sometime i think it's all depend on the storyline..and like you said..alot have similiar plot..but if they have the right person to act in it..i'm sure that lakorn will be a hit..the old are good that's because they have already have their flop and most of the onet hat we love to rewatch is because the plot is good and briliant actor..

the new generation is getting there..i think this 2006 generation is way better than 2004-2005 generation..because they actually can act..for example..JAO SAO BANRAI, AND LIKISIT HUAJAI..^^

Yea, i thought that too, but after i saw some power 3 club and ch3 actors, they're alright, but not as good as the older generation. Some ch7 are alright too, but i like power 3 club people better.

i guess that's why im taking a break off of lakorns. i dont even watch the ones with new actors and actresses because 1.) i know the plot will be super similar to past ones and 2.) knowing its the same, and theyre new actors and actresses, i dont watch it.

i hate teen lakorn. i view it as very immature.

sigh*....i wish they could think of better plots.

i think....the turn-around, most different plot ive seen so far in so long is Jan Euy Jan Jao.

I'm with you None3. I only look forward to watching lakorn with older actor/actress. The newer one?? I just ignore, cuz I feel that there's not chemistry between any of them. Yep and I end up watching OLD lakorns.. LoL.. this is SAD!!!

I have to agree with everyone on this.... i usually try to give everyone a chance, but sometimes I think that directors and casters pick actors that are way too young. I think that they should really hold them back for awhile, you know get them acting lessons and let time to developitheir skills before letting them come out the public.

I will have to agree with you on the cast of Jao Sao Ban Rai and Likasit Hua Jai, Cecilia. In exception to one thing though, I feel that their talents outshine many others. Their potentials soared since the beginning...which is a plus. You know the stars of the Power 3 Club are more impressive than some of the older generation stars!! I've been addicted to Thai lakorns since the early 80's and I'm not being bias simply because I am a huge fan of Pat or Por. They've just proven themselves to be the best of the best!! They are just simply amazing and I give them props for entertaining me in every aspect!! They truly put "their all" in the work they love.

I am confident that Pat and Por can take any roles and convince the viewers that they did their best!! They can be compared to the older generations that I continue to absolutely admire including Johnny Enfone, Willy McIntosh, Pete Thongjuer, Ken Teraded Wongpuapany, Jariya Enfone, Ann Thongprasom, Joy Siriluk, Kathaleeya McIntosh, Mew Lalita Panyupos, Joy Rinlanee, Ning Kulsatree Siripongpreeda, and Vicky Sunisa Jett.

Pat and Por showed their perfection in Likasit Huajai. Their second lakorn, Barp Ruk Talay Fun, was flawless!! They came out strong!! They've got great chemistry, a sense of variety, and talents that ROCKS!! Not to mention, their beauty and community effort projects make them the greatest!!

The two have proven that perfection does not come with age or experience...it comes with potentials and knowledge!! B) Besides the Power 3 Club provides the younger generation a chance to shine with challenging roles and diverse lakorns. I admire the directors for providing valuable options for their casts. I can watch their lakorns over and over and would not get bored of any of them...I've seen Likasit Huajai and Barp Ruk Talay Fun more than 10 times already, and I'm still hyped about the storyline. To be honest, I wouldn't repeat any lakorn that often. I get glued to the television when I put on their lakorns. If bored, I usually repeat older lakorns once a year...

Por's performance in Jao Sao Ban Rai was superior!! Pat's performance in Ruen Naree See Chompoo and Hima Tai Prajun were extraordinary!! The two have shown that they could stand next to the top actors and actresses without any problems!!

In conclusion, it's not true to say that older generation p'eks or nang'eks are better than the new rising stars. Pat and Por have proven otherwise...Also, their lakorns are not redundant because their storylines are not repetitive...Pat and Por's livelihood make the storyline a lot more entertaining!!

^^^^That's so true... The only exception for young stars, I feel that have the potential to capture the lakorn industry in the next generation, are Pat and Por. Their performances in their lakorns just do outshine everyone's else.

pat and por.. i havent seen any of their lakorns. maybe i should start.. since theres so many positive feedback about them

but its not necessary newer generation of actors are worse than older generations. its more about the script. coz i can say. that recently, i havent seen a good story line. mostly crap.. that drag and drag and DRAG

Yeah you reallly have to check it out!! If you like Jao Sow Ban Rai, then I think the Likasit Hua Jai and Barp Ruk Talay Fun are good for you to watch. I don't like Jao Sow Ban Rai too much just b/c of Numfon's acting and Por's character's is so mean. Even though Por's role in Barp Ruk Talay Fun is mean also , I think that he has a better reason to be so, I guess that's my theory. But I know alot probably will disagree. Anyway, check it out before the links expires!!

I totally agree with everyone. Most of these young actors are very talented, but the scripts tot he lakorn are boring and predictable and redundant. *sigh* I still hanging in there. I'll still try out more lakorn...

Me too, I agree with all of you. Pat and Por do good work in acting, I was surprised when I saw them in Likasit Hua Jai. And I find that Cee Siwat is doing a good job too.

Personally, I don't like teen lakorns with young actors. I prefer the elder way of life when they work already and are full responsable for their doings.

So far, I like to watch lakorns with following nang eks and pra eks: Ann Thongprasom, Aom Piyada, Aump Patcharapa, Janie Thienposuwan, Noon Woranuch, Chakrit Yamnarm, Por Nattawut, Tik Jessadaporn, Ken Teeradeth.

At least I could agree with you 110%, iamnowhere . LOL. Por was mean in Barp Ruk Talay Fun, but he had a valid reason. Both Likasit Huajai and Barp Ruk Talay Fun had the perfect script!! The storyline were unique, challenging, and amazing!! You've got to see it for yourself to understand that these lakorns of choice are more interesting and convincing than some of the older lakorns.

I wouldn't recommend lakorns to anyone without a great plot!! I am pretty critical when choosing what to watch. If I don't enjoy the storyline, I will not continue to pursue those lakorns...even if the cast involves my most favorable stars. I will watch the last 5 minutes in the last episode and return the lakorn. It's too bad sometimes, because I feel like some lakorns are a waste of money. That goes for older and newer lakorns.

All of Pat and Por's lakorns by far has the most interesting storylines!! Each and every one of their lakorns, whether they are cast together or not, have sparked my attention in one way or another. Their lakorns are meaningful, touching, and entertaining....That's why I have no doubts that their future lakorns will hold the same reputation...I love the way Pat and Por makes their lakorns number 1!! I always have a reason to watch their lakorns....It's mainly for the combination of their talents, beauty, creativity and the script. Their lakorns make me happy because it allows to forget about the problems I encounter in my daily life.

for the new acting generation ...so far... Likasit Huaja is the only one dat stood out for me to see the new comer acting . It true dat lakorn script is recycle storyline/plot and it getting predicable .I think the best lakorn i seen in 2006 so far is Jan Euy Jan Jao,Sai Leurd Haeng Ruk , Tang Fah Tawan Diew >>>>> i haven't watch Jao Sow Ban Rai lollll only watch the "R" scene but when it end and i get my khmer copy ...i'll come back and give my answer on it .

i feel the same way about lakorn nowadayz..even if my fav actors/actress is in it. but if the storyline isnt good then i wont watch it..so far, i think the power3club is the only newbies that caught my attention..their acting is good..they continue to improve.. for me, Oum ruk is the best lakorn of 06..the storyline was different..something new to watch..also, jun euy jan jao
