Besides these lakorns she starred in...Does anyone know of the lakorn where she was playing opposite this really old pe'ek? He was old enough to be her dad in that lakorn.. I don't remember the name of that lakorn but it was soo good and I'd love to know if it was ever remade. I don't recall the whole storyline but remember the dramatic ending where she's running down this flight of stairs in a wedding dress to find pe'ek.

first off, i dont know how u came to the conclusion that thai actors/actresses have the same level of capability..and no where have i hear that lakorn are suppose to cast good looking people. :lmao: i just cant imagine how such a person can come to such thoughts. i myself do agree that watchin lakorn with good looking people is a plus next to the the plot and acting ability.but in all media, acting ability is #1 INCLUDING lakorns. i rather spend hrs watching "ugly" people with great acting, than seein good lookin ppl who cant act for crap.beauty can only so much do such justice. and i am sure there are many lakorns out there we can refer too. like others said, if u cant back up ur comments, it only makes u look ridiculously STUPID!

your totally missing my point. the way i choose which lakon to watch is by searching for my fave actors. that is the only way to differentiate thai lakons and pick which ones i want to see because most lakons have the same recycled storyline/plot, it's just different actors being paired together. and since most actors to me have the same level of talent, i'll just watch the ones i like. and don't kid yourself, you wouldn't watch a lakon if the p'ek looked like mum jok mok or chai ya or if the n'ek was hideous no matter how good the acting was. lakons actors(leads)are usually better looking than non lakon actors. just look at american soap, every one is so attractive and that's part of what draw in viewers. you wouldn't see someone like steve irkel or screech in a soap and if they were i don't think anyone would watch them.

I remember watching entertainment news when they were makingKob/brook sawang Biang...and i swear the women that play the servant who like p'k is her...not by looks but i remember them saying that she use to play as the n'k in the old version..it also said she wrote the script..unless i mis-heard it.

That so not true...That u said we watch only for the good looking ppl. I.E>I don't find the p'k kelly very good look, i think he's average but i've watch/enjoy many of his lakorn. I remember watching this other lakorn, the n'k good looking, i'm no real expert in acting, But even I can tell that it was "HORRIBLE" acting, I stop watching. What that cindy Crawford movie with the Alec guy??? Her acting was bad in that too..ya she looked good but it couldn't get me to watch the bad acting...it only got me annoyed.

Yes, we all watch/try a lakorn/movies cuz we like the actors but that is only 1 of the reason..if the storyline and acting sux...then I pass...I pass on a few lakorn of my fav actor cuz i didn;t like the storyline...No offense but ur very narrow minded.

back in the days she was one of the famous actress. shes' a great actress and pretty. peeps in the older age call her the n'ek with naum thaa. nowaday peeps tend to go for looks and surpass that they cant act. the actors/actresses back then outbeat most of these news ...

i know what movie ur talking about tina- naum phueng khom with niroot(the n'ek father in taley rissaya). as for sawang bieng no she didnt star as the maid she wasnt in that movie. she rarely plays in movie nowaday...

yea that's her choice as well; there are others out there that havent came out of the closet but hey freedom of choice as long as they dont hurt or harm anyone so it's all good!

i agree totally that she is formost one of the prettiest. u can ask anyone during her time if they knew or heard of her, they will most likely said yes and she plays in such and such movies...

I know what you mean...Monrudee was a very popular and beautiful actress back then. My parents and grandma and even myself was in love with her and her acting. I think I started watching lakorns with my parents when I was 9 years old - watching Barn Sai Tong...then Sawan Bieng, then Ubattihet...plus others...I remember being up throughout the night watching lakorns. of course I didnt' understand Thai at all so kept bugging my mom and dadl...what, what, what?? Arrrggghhhhh feel so old now.

Hey Monruedee is one of my favorite actresses of all time. I love all her lakorn and movies.

People should dig deeper before making a statement or judging someone without knowing the facts. Yes Monruedee was a lesbian, but there was a reason why she was in the first place. She was very much in love then, but then the stupid guy broke her heart and left her the day they were suppose to get engage or wedding day or something like that. So that make her hate man. She and Paveena had once dated, but then Paveena also had problem of her own. She was also broken heart by some jerk. And she and Kob(forgot her real name) also dated... but some peoples just think these girls just pretend they are dating to get back at guys that once hurt them, and make guys jealous that pretty girls like them don't care about men.
And yes she's related to the Dara video productions owners, but that is only part of the reason she's acting. She never wanted to act in the first place. They forced her to act, because back then the company was just starting and they don't have money to paid others actors, so they make her and her other cousin (I believe his name spelled Pirode) to act. She cried whenever she have to play in a movie and she even try to run away. But she have no choice, since she have to help her family out. But then peoples really like her movie and they really like her, that's why she have to continue acting. She might be ugly to some, but that is just your opinion... but she is always beautiful to most that like/love her.

And someone here mention about the Prince of Thailand ... yes some of the story is true, but then again who are we to say it isn't true or is true. ONLY the person or persons involved will know what the real truth is. Story goes if he wanted some girl or back then wanted the famous or pretty actress he would tell his guards to get them. He have his guards send him many pretty actress, but this is like a hush hush subject, many peoples know about it, but no one wanted to talk about it.

Anyway who care what happen to these actors and actresses in real life, because is their life, you should care about your own and make sure you can take care of yourself before criticizes others' faults like your shit don't smell.

i seen so many old movies with old actors/actress but dont rem the title. there were so many good movies as well. i dont think that did a remake of that movie yet...
it's kinda hard to beat the old versions u know...

Are you talking about a short movie "Lhong Sieng Nang"? The one she played with Chokechai Chokeanant? One part where the p'ek sing a song and her sister sing/reply back and when the guys(p'ek and his friend) found them she said she's not a singer, her sister is. Right?

She is one of my favorite actress back in the days. She was very good and my whole family loved watching her. She many lakorns and all of it was good. She played her role well. Anyone knows where she is now? Haven't seen her in a lakorn for a very long time. Missed her when you see the other old actresses still on screen.

I know that this is a dead topic but I just wanted to say something. I've been browsing this forum for a bit before I joined, I was actually looking for information on her, Sarunyu, Byrd, Ann Sirium. Funny know how I know all their names now you chicas are a wealth of knowledge. Any who...I absoulutely love this actress. She's a great actress and very pretty. I watched her lakorns with my parents when I was young and when I go home I watch them over again on VHS. We only have the one with Sarunyu, where he's extremely rich and Sam, where he "r"s her. I rooted for her in those two movies.

I'm amazed that some people think that she's ugly, I don't get what's ugly about her. She's a little darker, her body is "normal" not anorexic skinny, it's not like she got some big fat wart on her nose or something. I bet if she was still a face in entertainment today that her looks would change to the style of today.

I didn't know her name until I saw the pictures and those aren't good pics but even from there you can tell that she's not a hideous hag. She's like Glenn Close or Meryl Streep, they're not Angelina Jolie beautiful but then they aren't in their 20s and they haven't had any plastic surgery either to enhance.
