I had the privelage of going to the set of "Nat Gub Nat" in late August 07. My friend is one of the director's interns, and she invited me to come and watch. It just so happened, I knew both of directors. Back in summer '05, I was at the set visiting Bangrak Soi 9. My friends were really obsessed with the show so my friend contacted her cousin and then we took them to go meet the cast. The whole cast was really nice. Tang took my friends and I to go eat and they even let us be in the scenes. They had me have the speaking part too. Totally embarassing.
Well, as I was taking random pictures at the set of Nat Gub Nat, I hear my name being called...I'm thinking...I don't work here. So they called me again, they wanted me to be in the scenes. I declined and declined, but in the end...they dragged me in. I had a huge zit on my nose. It was totally embarassing. But what justified it is that Bie had one too. So I was like fine.
I've never even watched Nat Gub Nat.
So anyway, here are the pictures.

Bie. Yeah they put on a lot of makeup on everyone.
When Bie doesn't get a line or the director tells him how to use emotion, it's cute that he goes off and goes over the script himself. When he's ready, he coms back.

I don't know who they are...I just know they're in the show.
I've seen the guy play the role of a Dad in a lot of lakorns. I just don't know the girl
Since Thai don't have studios like they do in LA. They have to somehow incorparate a live audience. The studios in Thailand aren't big enough to accomodate a live viewing like they do for like Friends and Will & Grace. So they actors will go over their scene 2-3 times or until they think it's good and then on then the next take they bring in the public. These people are actually paid to come and watch. These people are placed in a different room, and watch the actors do their thing on a tv. Their laughter is recorded through a microphone that is hovered over them. The 2-3 takes that they before the audience comes in can be edited later and combined with the last scene with the audience too.
The audiences waiting area. They literally wait around just go in and laugh. But to me, it feels weird to see a bunch of people just sitting around waiting to laugh.
The cameras that film exact lakorns and shows
