I don't know about Thailand but I think it's totally normal for a couple to record cutesy, lovey-dovey videos as long as they're not making a sextape. I don't know how you girls interpret it but I don't think that Looksoh and Thon recorded a sextape. It only showed hugging, kissing, and laughing. Apparently, Thais are taking it too far by misjudging and classifying her as a pornstar. That really makes me mad, to be honest. Sure, Looksoh might've done some bad things during the competition but if Ribbon didn't ignite the fire, the flames wouldn't have became uncontrollable. And yes, she took Baikhao's penis charm and stuck it in Dr. Aoey's purse but that was probably just for the fun of it, just like Baikhao and Dr. Aoey's little feud in the beginning towards almost the ending; it's a small matter that shouldn't be taken into account. Overall, I think Looksoh did everything out of both fear. She was afraid of Ribbon. I mean, who wouldn't have? Ribbon was dangerous from beginning and if I were any of those girls, I would've been cautious and if possible, took a step ahead every single time. I hope Looksoh gets a good ending because she does deserve it. I agree that she doesn't deserve the crown because she did become a bad person (even though it was Ribbon was the reason that she became that way) but she does deserve a good ending.
 
Another thing that made me mad was when Kong (Son) asked Waii (Yingying) that question when the competition was down to the top five contestants. If I could, I just wanted to punch him in the face. But then again, like someone pointed out, he probably never really loved Waii. In the ending credits of the last episode, it appears that he is openly trying to repent himself by associating with the LGBT society of Thailand...which to me is too late to prove anything to Waii.
 
Also, I think Dr. Aoey's love came out of nowhere. Lol. Soo unexpected because I thought that her guy doctor friend was gay. Hahahaha! I think they threw in a little love story for her to make her life appear more interesting after the winning the competition. After all, she is scandal-less and less and less of a bitch so it is safe to say her life got boring really so love life it is!
 
Glad Piengfah and Summer made up too but!!! I am sooo looking forward to Summer and Q cute scenes!!!

I think Thailand would be fine if they had been cute, lovey-dovey videos, but it was filmed while they were in bed, so it was probably considered inappropriate since it was suggestive. As for filming a sex tape, I don't know if they did. I just assumed they did because when she went for that audition and they told her she wouldn't have to audition at all because she was perfect for it, Luksoh asked what the role was, and the guy replied that it wasn't much different from what she did in the clip, and I doubt Luksoh would be upset/offended if it was just filming some lovey-dovey scenes with a boyfriend/lover.
 
I would also have to disagree that she put Baikao's charm in Aoey's purse for fun because she intentionally did it to get them disqualified. There was a scene prior to the fight between Baikao and Aoey where the judges were discussing what they wanted in the pageant, and one of the judges said they didn't want problems like other pageants so if any of the girls fought, they would be disqualified, and they showed one of the contestants eavesdropping. I believe that contestant to be Luksoh and she figured that would be one way to get rid of 2 potential competitors. And then there's the whole Fah, Q, and Summer fiasco. Bah O had just openly supported Fah on her vlog at the request of Fah's mother, so Luksoh knew she had to discredit her somehow. That's why she intentionally approached Summer and looked for anything incriminating. Aside from those 2 incidents, the rest of her fights were with Ribbon, which I could understand because Ribbon's annoying, and frankly, she started it. If she couldn't handle it, she shouldn't have dished it.
 
For me, I didn't think Aoey's friend was gay. I just thought he was a friend. He was pretty direct when he insulted her lack of feminine charms, so I didn't think he felt anything deeper for her, but since the teen episodes, they've been hinting at him possibly harboring unrequited love toward her so it didn't come as a big surprise.

Man, this lakorn really took me by surprise too. I didn't think anything of it at all when I watched the first episode. Being a huge fan of The Star, I just wanted to hear Gam's new song. Lol. I'm really glad I gave it a try, though, because it is something different from lakorns in general. I've never seen a lakorn about beauty pageants before.
I'm not gonna lie either. At first, none of the girls were pretty to me except for Aoey and Summer. As the show progressed I was became drawn to their acting and steadily saw their beauty. For newbies, they all did an outstanding job, especially the girls that played Bebe, Summer, and Waii, who were all very natural as dumb and whorish, friendly and innocent, and sweet and naive, respectively.
 
I just can't wait to see Summer and Q's sweet moments, though. I wished they had more screen time together so their relationship could progress just a little bit. I also want to see a good ending for Looksoh because after all that she gain, lost, and learned from the competition, she deserves her happy ending.

Agree with you guys. This lakorn really surprised me. I started this lakorn since it looked different and because Son and Jespipat were super handsome. The teaser didn't interest me much -- I just remembered watching it and finding all the girls to be very ordinary looking and "similar." But when I finally started the lakorn, I was immediately pulled in mainly because of the romance between Q and Summer and because of the 10 girls. I liked how the lakorn focused on everyone and even though Wai was more of the "main girl," all girls still got their spotlight.
 
I feel nothing in this lakorn was really "predictable" and I think that's why I enjoyed this lakorn a lot. There was always something happening and I was looking forward to every week for new episodes. I also found myself falling in love with all the girls. Even though their personalities were very different and varying, I adored all them. I found all their acting to be very convincing and they fit the roles perfectly.
 
I do not regret starting this lakorn at all. It's been a long ride and I wish to see them all have a happy ending even the "bitchy" girls. Can't wait for the last episode!!

OMG! There's going to be a season 2!!!!!!!! I wonder if it will be same cast or new one and start the whole beauty pageant all over again. I personally want to keep the same cast and by that I just want my bias Q & Summer lol!!

OMG really!? That is awesome & yessss, I would love to see more of Q and Summer!!! :D
But then again, I'd love to see a new set of girls, too. Lol.

Season 2 is most likely going to be a set of new girls. Hopefully, the old contestants make some cameo appearances. This was a good lakorn. Ended at the right moment without much dragging. I actually didn't think much of it in the beginning but ended up caring a lot about a lot of the characters.

I don't think this lakorn dragged at all. The reason why it's so long is because each episode is so short (less than an hour). I'm totally looking forward to the next season (if there really is one).

I finished it and glad I gave it a shot too .. it's way way better than I anticipated. At first, I went in to watch for the newbies, how well they act but end up watching it because they're that good with their acting. Just like someone mentioned in here, I end up caring and liking all their characters, be it good or bad, they all still hold some quality within themselves.  I'll definitely give season two a shot again if it's directed by the same director (Love his KOOGUM adaptation) and now this ... can't wait for more.

I finally watched the ending and it was good. I liked how it showed everyone's ending and doesn't leave you questioning what happened to this person or that person. I'm ready for season 2 now and excited to see new faces and possibly old faces too? lol

I liked the way this ended as well. I like that P'Nat gave us a little "where are they now."
