Please help. I've been looking for this movie.

So I've been trying so hard to find this old movie. Its a hmong american movie (meaning it has hmong american actors and was shot in the US) that came out a while ago. The movie is about two college students. The girl has a sister but they don't have parents. The boy's mom finds out that they are dating and she tries to pay the girl to leave him. She does leave him without taking the money. In the end they find eavhpther again.

I know its a vague discription, but please help me if you can.

okay now i know which movie you're talking about, the hmong title is called "Tos Ntsoov Ib Tus Hlub".

It's pretty old. I don't know how old exactly. It only has 1 part to it and its not a Hmong dubbed movie. It's an actually Hmong American movie, i guess thats how you put it. The girl does not sing for money, at least not that I can remember. Thank you for all your help. I even emailed this hmong movie site but they aren't getting back to me.


If anyone else has any suggestions or ideas please let me know.
