After three months of living together he was absolutely sure she was the one for him and their reunion was prefect timing . This morning before he left for work she had ask him to dig into her purse for the vitamin the doctor recommended. He came across her license and realize today is her birthday. All at once he could thought up of a million excited idea and plan to celebrate it. He never consider being a romantic type of guy since most of the time he doesn’t need to court a woman because his good look and status alone is enough to have woman throwing themselves at him --- then again it’s probable his wealth that make him irresistible . He chuckle silently realizing Lavadee was right about him being conceited . In their belief liaison he had come to respect how much love Lavadee had for her father and the prejudice he once had when they first meet no longer existed . She had told him all that happen was because of her father gamble addiction and the rest is history . Plus , the fact she was indeed innocent when they first bang in the VIP . She always elbow him in the chest when the word “bang” is use and since he wish to be stubborn it will not be the last time he say the word again . He grinned .
“Your cousin wish to see you . It’s urgent” said the secretary , who been standing at the door way .
“Uh?” he rise his head up . He was so lost in his thought about Lavadee that he nearly forgot about his secretary . He laid back in his comfortable arm chair and nodded his head . Taking a deep breath he try to relax . Living with a lie is eating him alive and he know it’s not long till Rome found out . It was difficult . Rome loved Lavadee so much . Rome swiftly came thru the door and slump down on a near by sofa . He been drinking . The smell of alcohol fill the air . His hair unkempt , clothes wrinkle , face unshaven and his eye is red shot as if he haven’t’ slept for days . He was rubbing his neck and seem restless on the sofa . His voice low and high , “She gone ! It been 3 months . I go by her apartment every day and her father said she not home ..not home ..not home ! I think her father know where she is but refuse to tell me !”
“Listen , let’s say …she is with a friend at the moment . You don’t need to worry about her . I’m sure she is ok” said Jame not meeting his cousin in the eye.
“Friend ? I had ask all her friends ! I think she is running from me because she doesn’t want me to feel obligated toward her and the child. I mean …it’s not her fault ..right ? The child is innocent . I shouldn’t had behave as if I’m disgusted of the child whom is a part of her ” Rome throw his arm over his forehead . Jame was itching to tell his cousin as his mouth open and close . The uncertainly of Rome reaction toward the new make him hesitate . “ And today is her birthday” said Rome quietly . Jame remain silent as he observe the heart-wrenching sight of his cousin . The guilty was kicking him by the minute as he watch Rome close his eye to hold the tear inside. Jame rise from his chair and left the room . Rome didn’t even notice the closing of the door . His hand move upward to cup the area where his heart beat.
Jame left the casino and went home . The 2 dozen roses he brought this morning was laying on the passenger seat of his car . He reach for it and re-read the card beside it “My love . Let’s us bang”. He thought he could be selfish and keep Lavadee to himself but after seeing how heart breaking Rome was , he realize what a jerk he had been . Rome is like a younger brother to him but yet he couldn’t even be a big brother and tell Rome the truth . Now , he about to be a bigger jerk to the mother of his child as well . Lavadee didn’t had a choice in the matter of her pregnancy and their relationship started because of the child . He wanted what’s best for two most important people in his life . He reach for door bell . He heard her foot step hurrying across the floor . His heart pound . Is she excited to see him ? The door swing open she greeted him with a warm smile . Pregnant woman must be the most beautiful sight in the world because her radiant smile was so dang sexy. He swallow hard before stepping inside . He have to tell her .
“Sweetie , happy birthday” he kiss her softly on the lip and handed her the roses
“Their lovely” she inhale the rose and cheerfully went into the kitchen .
Jame slowly pace himself as he watch her disappearance into the kitchen. He was debating whether to tell her now while she happy or when they in bed . He groan at the thought . “Uh…there something we need to talk about” he begin .
“Yes?” she came back into the room with a vase of rose and setting it on table. She had on a yellow flowery dress and her hair was in a pony-tail . Picture of a teenage pregnancy. How he crave to touch her and kiss her all over . He restrain himself and straighten his composure .
“I had been thinking …uh…we can not continue this” he waited till she turn around to face him , her expression was pale . “You should go back to Rome . I mean …he love you very much and he doesn’t blame you for being pregnant anymore because …you know ..he had assume you were rape and it’s not your fault and the child is innocent ” he couldn’t look at her in the face and stare at her mount stomach. He prepare to listen to her yelling and cursing at him.
“You …don’t want.. us anymore ?” her voice crack and heartbreaking .
Jame begin to pace himself . Refusing to look into her eye . He was afraid to find tear . He couldn’t bear to see her in tear . He just can’t . It hard enough for him to break up with her left alone see her in pain . “It’s just that …Rome is hurting right now and today he came into my office looking as if the trash can just chew him up and spit him out. You should go back to him. You will be more happier . We were only together because of the child . I realize that shouldn’t be the reason to settle in with each other. Rome loves you and he was also your best friend as well . As for me …we hardly know each other . I’m might be the wrong person for you . Rome is prefect . You deserve the best .” he finish by sitting down on a sofa , staring down at his shaking hand. “And I believe he will love our child as much as I will” he added .There was a long moment of silent until a soft sob was heard . He wouldn’t dare look up as his eye remain glue to the floor .
“You were afraid to tell your cousin about us…” she finally spoken with teary voice that sound as if she was struggling to draw the words out. She couldn’t hold the tear that was streaming down her cheek as she watch the heartless man sitting across from her . “You had promise not to break my heart . I believe you , offering my heart , body , soul and trust . Now , that you are through with me . You use your cousin as an excuse to toss me a side…is that right” she was sobbing terribly
His heart clenches as he rise his head to meet her deep pool eye . She had him all wrong . “No , sweetie . That’s not the reason . Trust me --”
“You lost my trust” she interrupted with a glare and then turn away. She went into the bedroom and close the door.

oh oh! James' in big trouble for digging his own grave. who the heck in the world suggest the idea of giving back their lovers for their cousin crazy man -- left alone, not just her but his child too. idiot aum, i believe that rome would be understandable if he know that aff is with aum and that aff loves aum. i wonder what aff will do, will she leave both of them or will she go back to rome? i hope that she doesn't go back to rome although rome doesn't deserve being treated that way because he loves her but if she goes with him then she will feel pity for rome because she's lying to him and also aum lying to him. why can't aum just tell rome the truth about his child and aff, if he really loves them he wouldn't be doing what he's doing even though it's not right. i just hope aff goes away from them and rome finding out that aff is with aum and the child is aums. i am talking too much, i will wait patiently to read what will happen next.

He knock at the door several time but there was no answer . “Come on , open up . You had it all wrong . Let me explain. It’s not that I don’t want you . I’m giving you a choice . She felt as if there something is clogging in her chest and the tear that was flowing seen to never end . She can’t decide to be angry or sad . The emotion she felt after his announce of breaking up and giving her to his cousin ! Shock , hurt , fear , anger and many more in that belief moment . Today was her birthday and when she heard the door bell rang she known it was Jame . She was excited and thought he came home early to celebrate . When he give her the roses her heart yearn to kiss him and thank him . There was so much happiness she want to express and wanted him to know how much she is delighted he came early for this special day. It never cross her mind he would drop the bomb . The thought of him not wanting her anymore knock the air out of her lung. Just when she thought everything is going well and the past three months was heaven . The air-conditioner was left on last night and the switch is build inside their bed room. He must had been freezing without a blanket . She quickly turn away and try not to worry about him . He an ass ! Remember that Lavadee! She release the luggage handle and went into the bed room . When she came back she was holding a blanket . She laid it over him and tug it lightly against his body . Then all the sudden her hand fly over her mouth . She was going to cry again. Last night left her eye red and puffy already . She turn away and left the condo .
Jame felt cozy as he snuggle against the blanket . He flip on his side and swing his arm to hug thin air . He open his eye and for the first time in three month he was alone . He look down at the blanket and smile . He brought the fabric toward his face and inhale the fragrance . Clean and sweet …just like her. Sitting up he stretch and his eye immediately flew to the open entrance door . He jump up and ran into bed room . It was empty . She was gone . He should be happy right ? No, he wasn’t . The lost felt like a punch in the stomach as if the beating keep on pounding into him.
Meanwhile in China . King Pin had not give up searching for his future son in law that escape . After sending out hundred of his men all thru out China and all of them came back empty handed , King Pin figure there only one place left to search . He hire investigator in Thailand and news had it that Jame had return home safely. Shampoo was thrill with the news and pack her bags over night . They will be leaving soon and when they get to Thailand , there will be no escape from the King Pin . Jame is as good as dead but knowing Shampoo , there probable a wedding instead of a funeral and King Pin haven’t decide if Jame is suitable for his daughter or not . How can he accept a son in law that escape his own wedding after everything was announce and plan ? thanks for the update, sarn. yay, aff left, i hope for good until everything's solve meaning aum told rome about him and aff. i was wondering if you put rita in this fanfic too or not since rome is in here, if she is in here, maybe rome will meet rita later and fell in love with her. i hope king pin will not hurt aff when they find out about ateam. man, when are they going to stop chasing after aum, i mean soap. she gotta let him go and aum have to stop his good kissing, lol. anyways, waiting for more update.

Jame hadn’t thought that living without Lavadee would be this difficult . In fact , he hadn’t thought about anything beside her well being. With a sigh, he glance over at his cellar phone that was laying over the pile of document on his working desk , throwing the pen in his hand away and shoving the un sign papers to the side , he reach for the cellar but hesitated . Had it only been seven days since she left ? It seen like weeks, months or even years ! He dread the thought of having to return home to dine alone , feeling lonely and depress .
“You want to have lunch together” said a familiar voice .
“Rome!” he frown , the last person Jame want to see. Obviously by the smile on his cousin face it must be a sunshiny day or … Lavadee must had return back Rome . He felt a sharp pain in the heart.
“She came back! And right now we are taking thing soon” Rome happily sigh and smile as if he hit the lottery. Even his eye was sparkle with love .
“That‘s…good. I’m glad it work out ok” Jame pretend to look busy and scan thru the pile of document on his desk , his heart was acing and how he wishes his cousin will leave .
“She told me the reason why she left for several months without a trace ”
Jame froze , “She did ?”
“She said she needed time to explore other option in her life , even though I wasn’t quite sure what she meant by that . She asked me if I love her truly and willing to accept her condition with no regret . I love her , Jame . Yesterday , I pick her up and we went shopping for baby stuff !”

With a panic voice the secretary shakily said , “I believe we are at their mercy then. There several Chinese men outside your office with guns and demanding to see you”
Jame swallow hard . “Tell…them I’ll be out there in a minute” he press the close button and quickly stood up .

“It’s King Pin and his men they are after me . They are outside my office at this very moment”
“Why are they after you?”

Outside the office several Chinese men all dress in black suit was pointing guns at the employee . The hostage had their hands in the air and shaking with fear . One of the man pull out a chair to let their boss sat down . The oversize authorize man had one of his man lit a cigar . He reach over and snatch it . Smoking and puffing while impatiently waiting for his future in law to come out . A delivery boy who came out of the elevator was immediately seize by one of the man in black . With large automatic guns clicking at every angle the boy squeal and fainted . The tension in the room was terrifying and life threaten . Moment later Jame and Rome appear.
“I see you had not change a bit my future son in law” said King Pin with a smirk and signal his men to aim the gun toward the new comer .
“Can we discuss this in a less violent way ? Holding my employee at gun point isn’t going solve anything”
King Pin continue to smoke his cigar . Frowning , he signal his men to put a way the weapon and at that moment several employee let out their breath as well as their hands. “My daughter is also here but she is being held in the hotel room . If she see you it will be hard for me to do my job. You are very lucky to escape from me but not this time . You have two choice . Marry my daughter or die”
“This is Thailand not China . We have law and order . You can’t force me to do anything”

Her heart winch at the harsh desperation in his voice but her ravaged pride warn her that only a fool without a sense would let him near her again after he cruelly toss her a side to another man , so she keep on walking . She reach for the door knob on the back door and his voice was suddenly close behind her , raw with emotion “Lavadee , please!”
Her hand wouldn’t turn on the knob , her shoulder begin to shake with silent sob, and she lean her forehead against the door . She wept with shame for her lack of will power to resist his pleading words . She let him turn her around and pull her against his chest . His warmth felt so right and his hand gently smooth her hair .
“I’m sorry” he whisper , helplessly trying to comfort her . “Forgive me”
“How could you just let me goes to another man without my consent or regard of my feeling!” she sobbed
Searching for the right words he turned her wet face up to his , “ I did it because I felt Rome’s pain . He love you so much . I couldn’t break his heart by confessing the truth. ”
“And it ok for you to break my heart!” she choked

YAY you updated, it was soooo sweet when they were together, going to raise their baby together…I feel so bad for Rome, but he should see that she didn’t love him the way he loved her. Then I was sad at the part when he was going to let her go back to Rome...but now i'm happy again that they are back together. I hope he doesn't lose to the King Pin.
