I changed my mind, I'm gonna give this a try, maybe it'll be different from the American version and by that I mean Serena & Nate getting together hahahah

This isn't airing yet, not till later this month. I heard they changed some cast due to fan reaction but I don't know who. Gotta admit I'm curious because the US stories were pretty racy that I can't see Thai's version straight up copying it. I stopped following the US version but I wanted Serena to end up with the guy that plays Bucky in Captain America. I forgot his GG character name. I wanted Blair with Chuck until they ruined them. They were so fun in the beginning and then they got too stupid and angsty and all drama.

If this airs on channel 3, chances are that they will really tone it down. The US version was very racy. I liked Blair and Chuck, the only thing that I didn't really like was the unnecessary constant drama. Funny thing is that Nate was more significant in the book compared to Chuck, but in the television series, Chuck became a more significant character than Nate. Will have to see how this one turns out.

I actually have not read the books but from the "research" that I've done, Erik (Serena's brother) is actually older and is straight. Dan and Serena's relationship is actually brief in the books whereas on the show, they have a serious on and off relationship. I should definitely read the books though.

Today the first episode aired and I saw people giving mixed response. I will wait till few episodes to decide to watch this or not

I saw the first episode and thought it was alright. I think the girls look pretty good and look suited enough for the roles, however, they don't have the glow that Blake and Leighton had. I feel like the guys look too young for the girls, with the exception of the guy that plays Chuck, he looks for the part. The first episode is pretty close to the US pilot.

No love for this lakorn? lol. I skimmed through it out of curiosity just to see the ensemble and everything is directly copied from the original. What's the point of a Thai version if everything from the dialogue to the scenes will be an exactly duplicate? All the female leads in here are awkward to watch and lack charisma. If I had to choose, I think Nonny has the most potential to move forward. The media is already dubbing her as Mai Davika # 2 due to similarity in appearance but I think she resembles Hana Lewis more.

I love Gossip Girl but the casting is just no way to me. I wanted to give it a try but after watching episode 1 I may skip this one sorry.
