Chapter 1:
“Tawan,” shrieked Peung, “Stop it. It tickles.”
“So,” said Tawan as he continues to tickle her.
Peung ran around the house, over and across beds and couches.
“Stop it,” yelled Peung, “You’re so annoying.”
Tawan laughed, “I know I am. You are one too.”
“No I’m not,” replied Peung.
Tawan grabbed Peung and both of them fell to the floor together. Tawan laid on top of Peung and both gazed at each other for a while. Tawan started to dart forward Peung and when their lips were about to touch, Peung pulled away.
“Stop,” laughed Peung.
“Why should I?” smiled Tawan.
“Because,” said Peung, running out of excuses, “I don’t like it.”
“So,” said Tawan, “We’re going to get married in about a month remember? I can do WHATEVER I want with you.”
“Disgusting,” yelled back Peung as she sticks out her tongue at Tawan, “You are so sick.”
Both of them laughed at each other for a while.
“So?” said Peung after a while, “Is Gun still mad at you?”
“I don’t know,” said Tawan, “I think he still is.”
“Really?” said Peung, “It’s not my fault I don’t like him. We’re just like brothers and sisters you know.”
“Well,” said Tawan, “Why don’t you like him?”
“Because I’m in love with you, my little dork,” laughed Peung.
“Yep,” said Tawan, “I love you too.”
Peung smiled and laid her head on Tawan’s shoulder.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gun ran outside screaming for hours and pissed at the news he heard a few hours ago.
“Why?” yelled Gun, “Why me?”
Flashback:
Peung: Gun, Tawan and I are going to get married. I’ve always love you as an older brother who loves and treats me how I like to be treated. I appreciate your kindness and since I’m going to be moving on with Tawan, I would just like to say Thanks.
Gun: What? You can’t just leave me like that, Peung. I love you. I just don’t love you, I’m in love with you.
Peung: I’m sorry, but Tawan is the one I love, not you. Goodbye Gun.
Tawan was standing at the door waiting for Peung to come out.
Gun: No, wait! You don’t understand. (Grabs Peung’s Hand)
Peung: Sorry, Gun. I have to go. Tawan’s waiting for me. (Pull her hand away from Gun)
Gun: But…
Tawan: Gun, I’m really sorry. Peung and I are in love. Bye.
Gun was raged with anger as he runs up to Tawan and punched him in his face.
Blood trickled down Tawan’s lips.
Gun: You can’t take Peung away from me forever, Tawan. I hate you and I’ve always hated on you!
Tawan: Gun, stop. You don’t know what you’re doing.
Peung: Stop it, Gun. (Pushes away Gun)
Gun: Peung, don’t get in the way! (Pushed away Peung really hard)
Peung flew toward the sofa and bumped her head.
Peung: Ouch! (looks up with blood on her head) Gun, please stop!
Gun & Tawan: Peung!!!
Tawan rushed toward Peung as Gun pulled him away.
Gun: Peung, are you okay? I’m really sorry. Please.
Peung: You know what, Gun? I hate you and I’ll hate you forever. Can’t you think for once? I never liked you, Gun. Think about it for once. I don’t love you and I’ll never love you!
Gun stared in dismay. He can’t believe what he just heard.
Peung: Tawan, please take me back home.
Tawan walked toward Peung and helped her up while Gun just looks at them.
Peung rested her head on Tawan’s shoulder and walked toward the door.
Gun: I’m sorry.
Peung ignored Gun and told Tawan to keep moving.
Tawan: Hope you’re happy, Gun.
Tawan and Peung walked out the door.
Reality:
Gun stopped running and sat down on the benches nearby.
“My life is ruin,” said Gun, “My love is gone!”
Tears came rolling down Gun’s cheeks.
“Can’t you think for once?” Gun was remembering what Peung was saying.
“Okay,” said Gun, “I’m thinking. Peung doesn’t like me, and that’s that. I have to come up with something to get Peung back. I’m going to hurt Tawan like how he hurt me!”
“Really,” a voice said behind Gun.
Gun turned around and saw Dao, “What are you even doing here?”
“Looking for you,” said Dao, “Why do you still love Peung? You know she doesn’t like you. Why don’t you just move on instead of breaking other’s happy relationships?”
Gun glared at Dao, “Whatever I do is none of your business. Now go away!”
“If that’s what you want,” cried Dao, “You know you’ll never get Peung. All of us have been best friends ever since we we’re young, and this is how you’ll treat all of us.”
“Stop it already,” yelled Gun, “The reason why you’re saying this is because you want me to love you right? Well, guess what? I’ll never love you. Just remember that I’ll never, ever love you, Dao. Go away!”
“Fine!” yelled Dao, “I hate you!”
Gun looked after Dao as she runs away. He kind of regretted what he said to her.
“Now I have two problems to solve,” said Gun, “Darn it!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dao stopped by a bridge and sat down. Dao was bursting out tears as she remember Gun’s words again, “Just remember that I’ll never, ever love you, Dao!”
Dao stared into her hands as she said out loud slowly, “You’ll never get away with this, Gun. I love you and I’ll never let you fall into someone’s hand. You’ll be mines one day. I just knew it!”
Dao clutched her hands into a fist and continues to cry.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Ready for dinner?” asked Tawan.
“Yes,” replied Peung, “What did you make for me?”
“Look for yourself,” smiled Tawan.
Peung pushed Tawan softly as she walks to the kitchen and gave him a little smirk.
Tawan just laughs and follow Peung into the kitchen.
“Tada,” burst out Tawan.
Peung gasped as she saw the most beautiful cake she’s ever seen.
It was decorated with pink and purple frosting, which are her favorite colors. The cake had three layers and it had both of their faces(made out of frosting) onto the bottom layer.
At the top layer was a beautiful ring with the most gorgeous, sparkling diamond.
Peung turned toward Tawan, smiled, and hugged him tightly, “Thanks Tawan. This is the most beautiful present you’ve ever given me. I love you.”
Tawan smiled back and said, “I love you too.”
Peung kissed Tawan on the mouth softly and said, “This is so romantic. You know what? You aren’t much of a bad cooker and artist as I think you are.”
“Whatever,” laughed Tawan, “This is probably a better way to propose to you and give you the ring.”
“I can tell,” said Peung, “Thanks a lot. And… I really mean it.”
Both gaze at each other for a while.
“Well,” said Tawan, “You want to eat now.”
Peung laughed, “Yes,”
Tawan smiled and walked toward the cake. He took out the ring and danced back to Peung.
Peung laughed at his crazy and graceful dance.
Tawan bend down onto his knees and took Peung’s hand. Tawan kissed her hand and said, “Will you marry me and accept this ring?”
Both of them had decided to get married, but Tawan haven’t really given Peung the ring yet.
Tears of joy came out of Peung’s eyes as she said, “Yes, I will.”
Tawan smiled back at Peung and slipped the ring through Peung’s ring finger.
Tawan stood up and hugged Peung.
After that, both had their delicious cake and had a wonderful night together.
Chapter 2:
The next day, Tawan and Peung were dressed and ready to go shopping for their wedding.
“Why do we have to go buy our stuff so early? We still have weeks you know,” complain Peung.
“I’m just too excited,” exclaimed Tawan.
Peung shook her head and laugh, “This is why I love you so much. You’re not just funny, but romantic.”
Tawan flashed a smile at Peung, and then opened the door for Peung.
Gun was behind the building, watching Tawan and Peung.
“I’m going to have to talk to Peung,” said Gun, “I need to get her back. I won’t ever give up on this.”
As Tawan and Peung drove off, Gun got into his car and followed them.
Dao was walking down the block until she saw the three of them and hid behind a tree.
“Where are they going?” thought Dao.
As Gun got into his car to follow Peung and Tawan, Dao called for a taxi driver and ask the driver to follow Gun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“We’re here,” said Tawan.
“I can tell,” replied Peung.
“Well,” said Tawan, “After we choose out our outfits, I’m going to take you somewhere special.”
“Where?” asked Peung.
Tawan leaned forward into Peung and whisper in her ear, “Somewhere special.”
Peung laughed and followed Tawan to the door of the mall.
Gun watched as Tawan opened the door for Peung while Dao watched Gun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Well,” said Tawan, “You like this one?”
Tawan pulled out a plain white dress.
“Are you kidding?” Peung cracked into a laugh.
“No,” said Tawan, not knowing anything, “What’s wrong with this dress?”
Peung shook her head, “Good baker, good artist, but not so much of a good dress picker.”
“Oh,” laughed Tawan as he realize what Peung just said, “Well then, I’ll let you choose out a dress.”
“Alright,” said Peung and she turned away.
Tawan walked toward the seats and sat down, gazing at Peung the whole time.
“This one looks gorgeous,” gasped Peung as she pulled it out.
“I want to see it,” said Tawan as he stood up.
When Tawan came up to Peung, he saw the most beautiful dress ever.
“Oh Peung,” said Tawan, “You’ll totally look even more beautiful in that marvelous dress.”
“I want to try it,” exclaimed Peung.
“Go ahead,” said Tawan, “I want to see you in it.”
Peung smiled and followed the lady into the dressing room.
Tawan decided to check out the men’s suits while Peung is still dressing. He has been browsing for minutes and he still can’t find one that he likes.
“Excuse me,” Tawan asked the worker, “Is there like any suit that you think will look good on me?”
“Um,” said the worker, examining Tawan, “I do have a suit that will be suitable for you. I kept it for my son, but he already got his own and he doesn’t like it, so I think I can give it to you. I hid it in that room over there. You can go check it out.”
“Okay,” said Tawan, “Thanks.”
The worker smiled and walked away.
Tawan opened the door to see the most handsomeness suit ever.
“I never seen anything like this before,” said Tawan.
Tawan took it out and ran to the dressing room.
After Tawan finished dressing, he looked at himself in the mirror and practiced his contagious smile.
“Tawan,” yelled Peung, “Are you there?”
“Peung,” whispered Tawan, “She came out already. Let’s see what she thinks of me.”
Tawan stepped out of the dressing room, facing to the most gorgeous lady he ever seen in a beautiful gown.
“You look…” said Tawan, “You look amazing!”
“And you…” said Peung, “You look so…cute.”
Both of them laughed and Tawan hugged Peung.
Tawan held Peung’s hand and said, “Wish it could be like this forever.”
Peung put Tawan’s hand on her cheek and said, “I know, me too.”
“Well,” said Tawan, “Let’s change back and pay for these outfits.”
Peung laughed, “I guess so. See you out there.”
Tawan smiled and brush his finger on the tip of Peung’s nose.
“Hey,” said Peung.
Tawan laughed and walked away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gun was still sitting in his car, waiting for Tawan and Peung to come out. He was too afraid they might see him in the mall.
“What’s taking them so long?” Gun thought impatiently.
A while later, Gun heard a knock on his window. As he look at who is was, he sighed.
“What are you doing here?” yelled Gun.
“I was following you,” replied Dao, “To see what evil plan you’re up to now.”
“I’m not up to anything. I’m just…sitting here…watching the view,” stuttered Gun.
“Sure,” Dao squinted her eyes, and pointed, “Then who do you think whose car is that?”
“Well...” said Gun, running out of excuses.
“Gun, please,” said Dao, “What you’re doing is going to change me, too.”
“What do you mean, change you?” yelled Gun, “This is my problem and it is none of your business.”
“Fine,” yelled Dao, “Don’t be sorry when I become someone different, because I’m not going to let you win anymore.”
“What?” yelled back Gun, “Whatever you do is not my problem. It doesn’t matter if you change or not, I don’t care.”
“If you’re going to be that way then fine,” hesitated Dao as she ran back home, drowning in tears.
“Ugh,” yelled Gun, “I hate this!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Ready?” asked Tawan.
“Yes,” replied Peung.
Both of them walked up to the counter and laid their outfits on there.
The lady at the counter scanned the clothes and told them the price.
“Wow,” said Peung, “That’s expensive.”
“It’s okay,” said Tawan, “I still have a lot more in the car. I can go get them and you can wait here.”
“No, it’s okay,” said Peung, “I can go get them. You’ve been working too hard.”
“Alright,” said Tawan, “Love ya.”
Peung smirked and walked out the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Come on,” said Gun, “When will they come out?”
Without any more patience, Gun decided to go and park in the parking lot and go into the mall.
Gun was speeding because he can’t hold any more patience. He turned around to see if there was anyone following him.
As he did that, someone came in front of his car and Gun bumped right into it.
He pulled on the break as hard as he can and stopped his car.
“Oh no,” gasped Gun, “What just happened? This can’t be.”
He looked back and was about to drive away, but then he looked to his side mirror and realized that person looked familiar.
Gun stepped out of his care and walked over to the body.
The person was lying face down with the car keys in her hands.
Gun bent down and turned the face over. He realized that it was Peung.
“Oh, what have I done?” said Gun, feeling guilty.
Peung’s head was bleeding with lots of blood flowing within it.
Gun smiled and went back to his car. He went to park his car in one of the slots and ran back to Peung.
Gun took out his phone and called the hospital, “Help, my girlfriend just got ran over and now she’s unconscious. Please help!”
A lot of people started to surround Peung to see what’s happening.
“My girlfriend got ran over,” said Gun, “Please help.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tawan was sitting down, waiting for Peung.
“What’s taking her so long?” thought Tawan.
Tawan took a magazine and started flipping through the pages with different kinds of wedding gowns.
“These look nice,” said Tawan.
He started flipping through more pages until he accidentally dropped the book.
“Ouch!” squeaked Tawan. Blood started trickling down Tawan’s finger.
“How can just a little paper cut create so much blood?” thought Tawan.
The lady ran over to Tawan and gave him some paper towels, “Here, be careful next time.”
“Hmm,” thought Tawan, “I wondered why this happened.”
Then he heard an ambulance driving toward the mall.
Tawan stared out the window, not knowing anything that’s happening over there at all.
to bad the son didn't like it.
i feel so bad for Tawan.
he sensed something, but doesn't even know his soon-to-be-wife just got hit by a car.
reading the line where Gun said someone hit his girlfriend got me angry.
i hope someone turns up and said Gun hit her but i'm guessing it's not going to be like that.
Chapter 3:
Tawan watched as the ambulance took off in the distance.
“Wow,” said Tawan, “That was a little weird.”
Tawan has been waiting for an hour now and Peung haven’t come yet.
“Excuse me, sir,” said the worker, “We’re going to close in about 10 minutes, so has your bride come yet?”
“No,” Tawan hesitated, “I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s taking her so long.”
“Well,” said the worker, “We can store the clothing somewhere and you can pick them up tomorrow. Alright?”
“Um…” said Tawan, glancing at the window, hoping for Peung to come, “Alright.”
“Well then, see you tomorrow,” said the worker.
Tawan sighed, “Peung, where are you?”
Tawan walked out the door and walked toward his car.
While he was walking, he stepped on something. Tawan looked down, wondering what it was.
He realized it was the ring he gave her last night.
“Peung!” gasped Tawan, “What happened?”
Tawan looked to his side and realized that there were puddles of blood by the road.
The securities were running toward Tawan, telling him to back off and that they need to clean the floor.
“What happened?” yelled Tawan.
“Back off,” yelled back the security guard, “We need to clean these bloods off the road.”
“I just want to know what happened!” yelled back Tawan, “Please. What happened?”
The security guard sighed, “A young lady around the age of 20 (I think) was hit by a car. I think she was going to get something out of her car and then she was hit. I think her boyfriend was also with her because he started yelling out something like, ‘Help! My girlfriend got hit by a car,’ so yea. Anymore questions?”
Tawan’s face was filled with terror, “Her boyfriend?”
“Yea,” said the security guard, “Now get going.”
Tawan walked away and got into his car. He couldn’t even drive and he couldn’t believe what he just heard.
“That must be Peung,” thought Tawan, “Why?”
On the way home, a name crossed his mind: Gun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Is she going to be alright?” asked Gun, impatiently.
“We don’t know yet, now just calm down,” said the nurse.
“Tell me right away when she wakes up. Hear me?” yelled Gun.
“Yes, sir,” said the nurse as she walked away.
Gun moaned, “Please Peung. You have to wake up. What will I do if you’re not here?”
The door opened as somebody walked into the room Gun was in.
Gun looked up, “Dao? What are you doing here?”
“I can be here whenever I want to and you can’t stop me,” yelled Dao.
“How did you know about this?” said Gun.
“It’s not your business,” Dao said with a raging look.
“Yes it is,” said Gun, “Stalker.”
“Hey,” yelled Dao, “I’m not a stalker. I just have my own technique of finding any type of interesting news that I want to know.”
“Then tell me, how did you know?” yelled back Gun.
“I don’t need to,” Dao rolled her eyes and looked away from Gun.
“You,” Gun said, “Come here.”
Gun walked toward Dao and reached for her hands.
“What are you doing?” shrieked Dao.
“You are coming with me,” said Gun, “I’m sick and tired of you following me everywhere, or also knowing where I am.”
“Stop!” yelled Dao, “Help!!! Someone’s kidnapping me. Please help!”
“Hey you,” said Gun, “Be quiet!”
“No,” yelled Dao, “Help, Please…”
Gun put his hands over Dao’s mouth.
“You better be quiet,” said Gun.
“MmmMmmmm,” mumbled Dao.
Gun smirked, “That’s what you get.” Gun took Dao all the way downstairs and to the back of the hospital.
Dao start to spit onto Gun’s hand.
“Hey!” yelled Gun, “Why did you..? Ugh.”
Gun took his hand off Dao’s mouth and started to feel disgusted.
Dao smirked back at Gun, “That’s what you get.”
Gun pulled Dao and pushed her against the wall.
“Don’t ever do that to me again!” yelled Gun, “Hear me?”
Dao can feel Gun breathing on her, “No, I hate you.”
Gun was up against Dao on the wall, “You are so stubborn.”
“I don’t care,” yelled Dao, “You’ve never liked me, so why should I be nice to you. Explain to me, huh?”
“You…” Gun hesitated.
“I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you,” yelled Dao.
“Stop it right now,” yelled Gun.
“Why should I? I hate you. I hate you. I hate you,” yelled Dao again.
“Stop or I’m going to…” yelled Gun.
“Going to what huh? Nothing, I don’t care what you do because I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate…”
Gun pulled in and kissed her on the mouth. Dao can feel that it was a fierce kiss.
“Whatever,” thought Dao, “He doesn’t even like me. He just did this to shut me up.”
The kiss was really strong that Dao didn’t even have time to breath.
Dao pushed away from Gun, “Why did you even do this?”
“Don’t think I did this because I like you,” said Gun, “Just be quiet next time will you? I hate you too.”
Gun walked away leaving Dao alone in the night behind the hospital.
“Why?” cried Dao, “I let him use me.”
Dao decided to go back into the hospital.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning Tawan decided to go to every hospital to find Peung.
So far, none of them has a patient name Peung Leenuttapong.
“Where are you, Peung?” Tawan said, worrying.
“How about the downtown hospital? I haven’t check there and it’s a really big hospital,” thought Tawan.
Tawan parked his car into the parking lot and started running toward the entrance.
As he crossed the road, a car almost ran him over because he was worrying too much and forgot about the danger of crossing the street without looking both ways.
Tawan turned toward the taxi driver and nodded his head, “Sorry.”
Dao looked over the seats and realize that they almost ran into Tawan, “Tawan? Why is he here? Does he know that Peung is here?”
Dao stared at Tawan for a while, “Excuse me? I don’t need a ride anymore. Just leave me off here. I’m so sorry for this.”
“Alright,” said the driver as Dao stepped out of the car and followed Tawan into the hospital.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Excuse me?” asked Tawan at the service counter, “Is there a Peung Leenuttapong here?”
“Hold on okay?” said the nurse.
Tawan nodded and kept walking back and forth, impatiently.
“Okay,” said the nurse as Tawan rushed up to her.
“Um,” said the nurse, “We don’t have a Peung Leenuttapong here. I’m really sorry.”
“Are you sure about that?” asked Tawan.
“Yes,” said the nurse, “Is there anything else you need?”
“No,” said Tawan, feeling ashamed that this wasn’t the right hospital.
Tawan walked toward the door as someone grabs his hand behind him.
“Dao?” said Tawan.
“Tawan, Peung IS here. Gun told all the nurses not to tell anyone that Peung is here because he knew you were coming to find her,” said Dao.
“Really?” said Tawan, “Thanks Dao. You’re the best.”
Tawan and Dao were smiling at each other.
“So, what room is she in?” asked Tawan.
“She’s on the fifth floor in room 916,” said Dao, “Be careful not to let Gun see you or he’s going to kick you out.”
“Thanks Dao,” said Tawan.
“No need to thank,” said Dao, “Come on, I’ll take you.”
As both of them turned around, they saw Gun behind them.
“Well, well,” said Gun as he started walking toward them, “Isn’t it nice to see my ex-best friends here?”
