Sometimes, we’re so caught up in our own grief and sorrow, we forget about others and what they’re going through too. I think we should take the time to be considerate and think outside of ourselves. Instead of focusing on the pain you’re dealing with, instead turn your energy into making others feel better, because you know what it’s like to be dealt hardship and sorrow…

it’s been 4 months and 3 days since you left us…. I wonder how you’re doing and if you think of us. I’m sure you’re watching over us, and I’m betting you’re protecting us. We miss you, and we’re just glad you’re pain-free now and not hurting. Until we meet again.

Wow, I haven’t been here in like…I don’t even remember…10-15 years?? in fact, I started this thread…lmao!!! Dunno what made me want to visit asianfuse today (almost typed
‘Sarnworld’, which was the original name) but just like the thread insinuates…randomness.
I hope all my old and new friends are doing well in life! Maimyang, i read back just one page before posting this…you dominated this thread…and went through a WHOLE LOT of craziness…thank you for sharing your woes and finding comfort in just letting it out in the most unlikely of places. That was my motive for this thread to begin with…just a place to ‘therapy session’ and vent.
i am one of the older peeps on here now, yikes! It looks like people settled down and had kids…i am a little behind on that…i just play with other people’s kids. Lol! That sounded slightly wrong…but u know what i mean!
i miss the fun and carefreeness of asianfuse! I wish i could zoom with everyone. Back when this forum started…there weren’t a million social media platforms…and not everyone had cell phones. Times have changed!
My family has a restaurant that I basically run it now but i was doing corporate for like 8 years. I would never wish doing the restaurant thing on even my worst enemy. Haha. This adult thing, in general, is really stupid. Praying that everyone is doing the best with what their circumstances are throwing at them!

Awh so wonderful to read your post, @Thookatha! Yes this is definitely one of my favorite threads lol even if sometimes I feel like I’m talking to myself 
. Not a lot of people come on this forum anymore, I don’t think lakorns are very successful right now. I haven’t completed one in years. Well it’s great hearing from other members & how y’all r doing highly enjoy reading ppl’s randomness hehe

Yeah, lakorns aren’t what they use to be…I think I haven’t watched any in like 10 years…my new thing are chinese mini dramas…there are millions of them on YouTube…averaging like 2 hours long. The funny thing is it’s actually pretty poorly put together but it’s somehow still verrrry addicting.Awh so wonderful to read your post, @Thookatha! also, talking to yourself is SUPER in right now, so don’t feel weird. I do it all the time. Hehehe. And sometimes you just want to poor your heart out where you aren’t expecting anything in return…including judgement.
I wish you were around back in the day when i was active on AF (many moons ago). The crew was wild here…so much fun! We did chat rooms and singing competitions and everything! i ironically always found that i could connect and be myself more with a lot of peeps in here. I guess it makes sense…we all had pretty warped, drama-induced , delusional thinking being fans of anything Asian entertainment related. Lol!!!
