Donut, looked at herself in the mirror, for the ninth time, taking deep breaths, Youll do fine punlerdwongsakul, dont worry, about it. Bua reassured her. Donut, turned to look at her best friend, But what if I mess up & embarrass myself in front of everyone? I dont want that to happen. I mean, if I do mess up, Im not going to be the only one wholl be put to shame. She went on, babbling about her anxieties until, her friend, took her hand, Its alright. Youve practiced it before, remember? You wont mess up. Just take a deep breath, before walking down the aisle & relax. Trust me, once you two, see each other everything will be ok. she advised, the nervous bride. Donut let out another sigh, Right. She said, Everything will be fine. Bua smiled, Mm hm, now go out there & dazzle them. Before she could leave to take her place with her escort, beam & the other bridesmaids, donut called out to her, & thanked her. She replied, with a nod & two thumbs-up, mouthing a word of encouragement. After the experiences she'd with dating, younger men, she never thought that she would actually, end up, marrying one. She'd always favored older ones, for they were much more mature & understood her wants & needs. Though, her relationships, with them ended, they didnt end, as bad, as they did when she was with someone her junior. With the younger ones, they did nothing, but use her. For the first weeks or so, they would treat her as a gentleman, would but after a short while they would leave without even an explanation. When would've an encounter with any of them after a breakup, they would act like she didnt even exist. It hurt, being treated that way, but she'd no choice, but to move onto no matter, how broken she felt. Unlike, the rest of them, he was different. He was a rookie to the squad when she first saw him & preferred to remain alone during, breaks rather, then being with comrades like the other rookie officers did. He never spoke unless, spoken to. She never bothered to approach him & if beam & num, hadnt befriended him, she probably, wouldnt be where she was, now. At first, he didnt seem like her ideal boyfriend material, but the more they spent time together, the more she found out about him...he was actually, full of surprises. While they were dating, he would always play with her mind, but in a good way, of course, & she loved that about him but his most surprising act, yet was one that she remembered, clearly as though, it'd only happened a few moments ago. Unlike, other times, the headquarters werent busy, that night. Aside, from the three people, they were currently, keeping in the jail cell for DUI, there wasnt anything much happening. While she sat on her desk & looked over, some files, others either, kept watch on prisoners or chatted occasionally, if there was anything to talk about. After hours, of sitting in the mundane office, they finally, get a call which she answered, putting it on speakerphone, Superintendent Punlerdwongsakul, this is inspector Danuwong. Dan said, through the other line, Weve got a code...2 situations. Theres been an armed burglary, at Third Street. The two suspects are on a getaway van, & Ill need you to track them down. Inspector, were you able to see the plate number, on their vehicle? She asked, Affirmative, superintendent. He answered. He then, dictated the letters to her as she recorded them on her computer, William. Ida. Lincoln. Lincoln. Young. Ocean. Union. Mary. Adam. Robert. Robert. Young. Mary. Edward. She tried searching for a license plate, with the said letters, but found none, after several attempts, Inspector, Im sorry, but there are no vehicles, with that license plate. She told him. Her colleagues, couldnt help but laugh at her obliviousness, especially since that she was the one in the room holding the highest rank, Punlerdwongsakul, look at the first letters. Senior inspector tanjararak, her best friend, & one of her colleagues advised her, Yep, & then, give Danuwong, your answer. Senior inspector beam tanjararak, another one of her friends, told her. Confused, she does what they tell her & reads every first letter.

Oh, my god. She couldnt help say as she sat there, stupefied as she stared at the monitor, with her mouth agape. Superintendent donut, was dumbfounded for the first time, in her life, & became speechless, How did I not get that? Am I that stupid?!" She thought, Well. All three of her friends, senior inspectors bua tanjararak, beam tanjararak & num ttappituk said, in unison, Arent you going to give him your answer? Senior inspector ttappituk asked, Are you still there, superintendent? Dan asked, Inspector, you fool! She said, trying hard, not to cry. Her happiness, was definitely overflowing, & wanted to cry. However, a police headquarters wasn't the right place, to show it so, she resisted, Come on superintendent, answer him already! A rookie shouted, from his post, Inspector Danuwong. She said, Affirmative. Copy that. Dan said, ending the conversation. After hanging up, all the policemen (& woman), in the room cheered. Indeed, inspector Dan Danuwong was definitely, full of surprises. Dan Danuwong, waited anxiously, near the churchs altar, while the bridesmaids & groomsmen, the maid of honor, walked down the white aisle & took their places. Following their entrance were the flower girl & the ring bearer, & finally, his bride, escorted by her father. As she walked, his eyes were only focused on her as he admired her beauty. He couldnt believe it. Today, manasanan donut punlerdwongsakul, the love of his life, was going to become his wife. He never thought he could attain her. After all, being the only female, in the squad to achieve the rank of superintendent general, in the vicinity, she was seen as an aggressive woman. He didnt bother to try & get close to her. All he wanted was to work & make money, so he can help out his mother & sister. Getting married wasn't one of his goals; his only priority was his family. Then, those two men, beam tanjararak & num ttappituk, approached him & he met her...& he was absolutely glad, they did, for if that hadnt happen, he wouldnt be standing there right now, watching her as she walked gracefully, to his direction. Once, they finally, reached them, her father, let go of her, handing her over, to him, You look beautiful, as always. He told her, causing her to blush. They smiled at each other, as they walked up to the altar, & began the ceremony, I now, pronounce you husband & wife. The priest declared, You may now, kiss the bride. Without wasting a moment, he leaned & claimed her lips, concluding the ceremony, with a kiss, making their guests cheer, Look, at them, p'beam, they look so happy, together. Bua said, wiping her tears, as she held beams arm, I know. Finally, that guy got himself a woman. Did you know he never planned on getting married? He asked her, Well, theyre both very lucky, to have each other. She said, Indeed, they definitely, are. He replied, smiling.Ida
