I'm one girl who love lakorns and who love to have some in eng sub and i have found that some lakorns have no eng sub but have chinese sub (and since i'm learning chinese since 5 years) maybe i can help to translate some lakorn for everyone

omg, PLEASE do !! I was just on Viki and somehow all the thai lakorn that the people had worked so hard to subbed are all gone.

For viki i think they have one glitch because i have the problem of not see the lakorn that i watch but if i search on google with the stuff marked (Episode ..) i have the episode. So it's very weird

How sweet of you to consider subbing It'll totally be appreciated.

If you need a timer or editor.. feel free to ask me (not on Viki at least.. since I still don't know how to segment on there lol). I would love to help you out since the subbing community for lakorns are still small.

I have found one way to translate with Youtube video for the moment the subtitles are not put on the video but soon because i have started to translate " Fang Nam Jarod Fah" and also i have begun to translate the novel "Jam Loey Rak" (To chinese in English, the adaption of the lakorn with bonus scene and some scenes that didn't happen in the lakorn but when you read about it in the novel you understand more the lakorn)

I've been wanting to learn how to do timing and segmenting but I don't even understand it with that help of that video on viki. So confusing. I'm a visual learner, and I need to actually see and touch(hands on) to understand it.

@D~D, I made a tutorial back then with this one program but my images got deleted from imageshack (since the site was going through changes etc.) If I ever get back to timing, I'll be glad to do another tutorial. I like using subtitle workshop to time.

@Tigrafr .. That's good to hear. I hope you find a suitable option that works for you . I think youtube allows you to insert .ass? (or was it .ssa?) or .srt files. I totally forgot which one but.. it is convenient if you don't want to hardsub the video file.

Just to let you know that i'm doing this for myself (for this project) i'm not in One team of fansub. So i can do it. And i'm just taking davantage of the original videos of YouTube and Chinese Sub. I don't think this is one problem about this. To continue studies by translate some video.
So if i want to translate it for myself i Will do it
And also if i want to translate it in my native tongue (French) for the French fan of Lakorns i have the right

And i have already other projects just they Will begun when i finish to translate the book and the Lakorn for myself.

And also you should know that if people want to translate something but are already picked they don't care because on YouTube you can do the subtilites in Vidéo for every vidéos that you want and that cause no issue. It's for the community and also it's can help maybe people.
And by the way sometimes you can have team translating songs and after some "fan" Who want to do their own work. I know someone Who do it for One Korean Show and i just do the same.
Everyone is free to do what they want by the way

Don't worry i'm doing this because i want it, i have lot of motivation for translate Lakorn and other stuff from Asia. So i'm doing it by myself (In French or in English) i work alone so i have no problem with the timing or team.
I can do what i want
And it's good to have maybe différents version of fansub.
Specially if this One could have the subtitles with the original vidéo.
