Chapter 9:End of Three People, Two Choices

Two hours had passed and yet no one had come out to tell them how Donut was doing yet.

Finally after what seems like forever the doctor came out.
Both Beam and Paula ran up to the doctor asking how Donut was doing.

The doctor said,"I'm sorry, the victom had lost too many blood, we have all tried our best. The victom has passed away."

Paula and Beam was numb they couldn't believe what the doctor had just said.

Paula screamed,"NOOOOO! Your lying to me! This can't be happening! Noooooo!"

Then Paula fainted, but Beam caught her just in time. They put Paula in a room for her to rest. Just as Beam was going to visit Donut's lifeless body the doctor had one more thing to tell Beam.

The doctor asked,"Excuse me, but you must Beam is that right?"

Beam said,"Yes."

The doctor said,"Well, before the patient had truely passed away she told me to give this to the both of you. She said that she meant to give this to you before the accident. The other one was for this young lady i guess, if her name is Paula, but since this young lady is resting i think you should give it to her when she wakes up.

The doctor handed him a small frame with a picture of Donut, Beam, and Paula together smiling . . .the picture was taken when they were still in high school, in their school uniform. There was two, one for Beam and the other made for Paula. Beam notice that their was a note on the back of each frame. Beam read his note, here what it said:

Beam,

I love you soo much! I'm glade i have met you and i'm happy that you feel the same the way as i do for you! Do you realized that you have made my world complete? Well, now you do! I'm glade that Paula refused you, cause now i have you! I hope i don't sound too selfish, never in my life has my life been soo complete! Thanksto you and Paula, the two people who are important in my life!

I love you,
Donut


With that last phrase that Beam had read tears started to rush down his cheeks. He felt selfish and could never forgive himself ever again. He left the other picture next to Paula and left.


After about 10 min. after Beam had left Paula woke up to find a frame of the three of them together smiling at her. Tears started to form all over again, she turned the frame around not wanting to see it at the moment. Then she saw a note on the back of the frame, she read it, it said:

Paula,

My beloveded friend! You are an amazig person! I'm so truely gald that your my best friend! It's hard to find a best friend that is so truthful like you anymore! I can tell you anything and everything, well, except when i didn't tell you how i felt about Beam, for some reason i just couldn't let you know, i always felt that you secretly liked Beam even if you were going out with someone or not. I didn't want us to fight over a guy because that's not why we became friends. To me we became friends because it was meant to be! When i'm down your always there for me and when your down you know you can always count on me!"

Paula just kept on crying after she read her note from Donut.


The very next day they made a funeral for Donut, but they didn't have the body, the doctor said that her body was extremly crushed and that the patient had signed a donor sheet before the accident. So at the funeral there was only a empty casket. Beam decided to become a monk for Donut's sake. They held the funeral for three days only. Beam decided he want to be a monk to ease his guilty feelings for what he did for Donut. After the funeral Paula decided to continue their business in Australia, Paula promised herself that if it was not for buiness she would stay away from Thailand as much as possible.

Chapter 1

This story is about love and revenge just like the title! In this story Beam will find out that he has an enemy that has been eyeing him for years. Paula is going back to Thailand, but not for business, she going to Thailand to get Married! (And no she's not going to marry Beam if that's what your thinking!) (at least not yet!) Anyway the story continues like this: Paula going to Thailand accidently met up with Beam, Now Paula can't choose between Film or Beam! Their lives are turned upside down again when someone from their past returned to them. Guess who it is? You'll never guess right! (well i hope you don't anyway!)

So what will happen? who is making their life like a living hell? And who is that mysterious person?

It's been 7 yrs. since Paula haven't returned to Thailand. She just couldn't go back after what had happened. She never once forgive herself with what she did to her beloveded best friend. Every living minute was killing her inside. But she was lucky in way . . . she met THEN the assistance doctor who helped the other doctors relive Donut (but was unsuccessful). He had help her get over some of the pain that she had felt when Donut first past away. He is now her finace . . .

Film sneaked up behind Paula and hugged her from behind.

Paula smiled and said,"Film! When did you get back?"

Film said,"Just now, I set a vacation time at the hospital so we can go back to Thailand and get married!"

Paula stop smiling and said,"*Sigh* Thailand, i should be happy . . .i don't feel well going back there."

Film spun Paula around and looked at her straight in the eyes and said,"We need to go back to get married there!"

Paula gave him a confused look and asked,"Why?"

Film said,"Because i promise my mom that if i ever get married i would get married where she once want her wedding to be."

Paula said,"Once? you mean she never got married?"

Film said,"No . . .something had happened. And besides, don't you want your best friend to know that your getting married? She can be there spirituall!"

Paula forgot that she wanted Donut to be there on her wedding day, even though she wasen't going to be there but she would be there spiritualy like Film said. She looked at Film again and smiled and nodded her head yes to agree to get married in Thailand.

Beam couldn't be a monk long, after 6 yrs. of being a monk he decided to suk and be a regular guy again. The biggest reason why he couldn't be a monk is because he couldn't keep his soul calm like the other monks, in his head was Donut and Paula, the two most important girls in his life. But he was lucky that he had made up to 6 yrs.

Once Beam was out of the monk bother-hood he went back to engineering again, only this time he decided to engineer someone's else's company instead of his own . . . he didn't want Paula to know that he was out.

Once Paula stepped onto Thaniland's ground she seperated from Film and went striaght to Donut's tombstone. It wasen't just in any ordinary cemetary place but it was place in a personalized cemetary place where they once all promise eachother that if they die they all want to be lying next to eachother in their own personal grave.

Paula stood in front of Donut's grave with the wind blowing against her and her long hair flowing with the wind.

Paula said,"Donut . . .i'm back. I miss you so much. I hope that during the years that had passed that you had forgiven me. I know that i don't deserve your forgiveness . . . i just wish you were here with me right now. Did i mention . . .that i'm getting married. I think you send him to me, he's an angel. Thank you. I wish you to attend, spiritually that is cause how else would you be there, right? well, it's getting late, i think i should go now. Bye.

Paula walked off with tears running down her cheeks. As she walked off, someone nearby was giving her an evil eye, so evil that they were willing to kill at any moment. But that person kept it's distance. A couple of min. later Beam went to the grave.

Beam said,"Hey Donut. How are you doing? Today was the same as always, the worker weren't as mean as they seem once you get to know them. And their not as clumsy like the one at our company. remember that one time i came in with mud and dirt all over me? You were laughing so hard i had to stick a piece of paper in your mouth? haha, old times . . . i miss you, you know. I regret everything i did with Paula that day. That day you left me . . . forever."

Beam just place a single flower down on Donut's grave and then he walked off slowly. That person who was looking on decided to leave and prepare them for the surprise of their life. . .

Chapter 2

It's been almost a week since Paula came back . . . she was trying on her wedding gown at the store . . .

At that same time Beam was in town getting new materials for his new up coming project. He was walking by the wedding studio when he looked in the window and saw someone he didn't expect to see, not in a million lifetime. . . Paula!

Just as Beam was looking at Paula, Paula turned around to check if the back of her dress was ok.

Thats when Paula notice that the guy who was staring at her was Beam.

They looked at eachother for a very long time, Paula decided to ran out of the store to go talk to him . . . but when she got out of the store Beam was long gone. . .

She looked to her left and to her right and yet no sign of Beam . . .

Paula was walking backwards when she bumped into someone . .

Paula quickly turned around hoping it was Beam . . . but to her disappointment it was Film.

Paula surprised,"Film!"

Film smiled and asked,"What are you doing out here? Aren't we suppsoe to take pictures for our wedding?"

Paula gave him a nervous smiled and said,"Yeah, i thought i saw an old friend but that couldn't be because he's a monk right now . . .I guess i'm just thinking too much."

Film said,"come on, we can go visit him at the temple tomorrow if you want to give him the good news about us."

Paula smiled and said,"That would be good."

As Paula and Film walked off Beam finally came out of his hiding place. . .

Beam's thought: Your getting married? After what had happened you still can forget about me? About Donut? How Donut had to die because of US? How could you? I can't believe you would actually get married . . .

At that moment Beam realized how much he missed Paula and how much he had loved her before . . .

The very next day Paula and Film went to the temple that Beam had become a monk, only to find out that Beam had left the monk-hood a year ago.

They were outside of the temple . .

Paula said,"I can't believe he would get out of the monk-hood and not tell me anything! Where is he? Why didn't he come back to our company and contiue to work with our company?"

Film gave Paula a look of what's going?

Film said,"You sure sound like your worried about this guy . . .was he someone special to you?"

Paula looked at Film in the eyes, she realized that all she did was talked about Beam(not a good sign).

Paula said,"I just want to know how he's doing and why he didn't come back to the company that all three of us had built with our own six hands."

Film asked,"All three of you?"

Paula said,"Yeah Me, Beam and . . . Donut."

Film said,"Oh, the one that had passed away."

Paula said,"Yeah . . .the one that had passed away."

Film saw that Paula was still upset about the incident so he sugguested that they out to eat.

Just as they were driving out, Beam was driving into the temple . . . Paula saw Beam but wasen't sure if it was him or not, as for Beam he saw Paula and the person that Paula was going to married.

Paula told Film to head back to the temple quickly . . .

GASP. YAY the sequel is here OMG Paula is engaged to Film. Awww I do want Beam and Paula together, but then it would Film, and history might repeat again an evil person watching over them is probably Donut..but if Donut is alive, who was buried in her grave??

Chapter 3

When Paula and Film headed back to the temple they couldn't find Beam or the truck that he came in was.

Paula decided to ask one of the monks if they have seen a guy who looks like Beam.

The monk told them that Beam went straight to Donut's grave, which was in the middle of the forest which was by the temple.

Once Paula know this she ran straight to Donut's grave leaving Film behind. . . but he did follow.

Once Paula reached there she saw that Beam was kneeling on his knees in front of Donut's grave, in his hand was a single white rose.

Paula slowly walked up towards Beam.

Paula said,"Beam . . . "

Beam didn't look up, he stayed where he was.

Paula said again,"Beam . . . W-why did y-y--"

Beam interuppted,"So i heard your getting married . . . "

Paula was quiet.

Beam looked up at Paula, then he slowly got up and faced Paula face to face.

Paula could see in Beam's eyes that he was angry, disappointed, sad, and hopeless at the same time. Looking in his eyes was the most painful thing Paula could do since the death of their friend. Out of no where tears started to run down Paula's cheeks.

Beam couldn't believe what he was seeing, she shouldn't be crying! He was suppose to yell at her first and then let her feel the guilt inside and then slowly cry out her pain! What was he suppose to do now? A part of him wanted to hug and comfert her like the old times, but another part of him wanted to torture her for being happy while he's stuck in the past.

Beam asked,"Why are you crying? Your suppose to be happy that your starting new and getting married! Forget about the past, forget that WE once loved eachother so much that had to kill our bestfriend just to be with eachother . . . but in the end no one had eachother!"

Paula said,"What did you expect me to do? Be alive but dead on the inside? yes I know that what had happened 7 yrs. ago was Our fault, but did you expect us to be with eachother after what had happened? Your not the only one who is hurt on the inside Beam!"

Beam said,"I'm not hurt on the inside Paula, But i'm dying on the inside! You wouldn't understand that now since your getting a second chance! I'm still living in the past . . . Look in front of us! This shouldn't be here, not now anyway! It should be here in the next 70 or 90 years! it should be here when ours are here!"

(Beam was talking about the grave stone)

Paula looked into Beam's eyes with her eyes all covered with tears . .

Paula said,"Beam you should stop living in the past, you sh-"

Beam interuppted and said," I'm not cold hearted like you PAULA!"

With that he placed the single rose on Donut's grave and walked away.

Paula just broke down crying again. The entire time Film was watching and listening to what they had said, he was smiling the entire time. Once he saw that Beam had left he walked towards Paula who was now on her knees and crying.

Film said,"Paula! What happened? What did he do to you?"

Paula whiped her tears and quickly answered,"Nothing, it was just an emotional meeting with my old friend. That's all."

Film knew she was lying but did not say anything.

Film said,"Come on, let's go get some rest. ever since we came back we really haven't rested, you were too busy with the wedding arrangment and meeting up with your old friends."

They decided to head back to the hotel.

Once Beam was back in his office at the site, he couldn't concentrate on his work. All he could do was think of the past. It's been haunting him for almost a decade.

Just then one of his worker knocked on his door.

Beam said," Come in."

Jon , one of the worker said," Mr. Tanjararake, this package is for you."

Beam asked,"Why would there be a package for me at this time? It's Saturday and the Mail usually comes in the morning, not the afternoon."

Jon said,"This young lady came to the site and asked if our manager name was Beam Kawee Tanjararake and we said yes. She said to give this to and you would know who it's from."

Beam was confused but sent Jon to give him the package and to continue working.
Once Jon had left he quickly open the package.
Beam was surprise, he was so surprise he almost dropped the large frame.
In the frame was an enlarge picture of all three them, him, Donut, and Paula. Only His picture and Paula's picture was mark with a big red X. It seems like the red X was made out of blood!



Back at the hotel Paula had just got in when someone knocked on the door. It was one of the hotel service people.

Kaew was her name said,"Hi miss Paula, someone had sent this to you earlier, she was that it was a present for your wedding. She said she can't attend to it but would like for you to open this right away."

Paula smiled and said,"thank you"

Paula wondered who that person might be.

She quickly unwrapped the present. Paula screamed soo laud that Film had to rush out of the bathroom and check up on her.

Film said,"What is it paula? Is there something wrong?"

Just then Film looked at what Paul threw on the sofa.

It was the exact same thing that Beam got . . .

Chapter 4

Film called the manager of the hotel to their suite. And demanded an explaination to the mysterious wedding mail.

Mr. Somsuk (The hotel manager) said," i am very sorry Mr. Rathapoom, that this had happened to you and your fiance, but we really don't know who had sent this to you and your fiance. There was no return address on the package."

Film yelled,"Of course theres not gonna be a return address! Who would sent something like this and leave behind a clue so we can track them down?! Mr. Somsuk, if you don't find a single clue as to who has sent this to us within the next 48 hours, then me and my fiance will take our business else where!"

With that Film slammed the door really hard in front of Mr. Somsuk and the other workers there.

Film returned to Paula who was still shaken with the whole incedent.

Film wrapped his arms around Paula to show that he was there for her.
Paula turned around and leaned back on Film for more comfert.

Paula asked,"So what did the manager of the hotel say?"

Film replied,"They had no clue, but i told them if they don't find a clue within the next 48 hours we're leaving and getting married else where. It's ridicules not knowing who is sending this type of things to their customers. Very bad service!"

Paula looked up to Film and said,"Honey don't say that, they wouldn't know what was in the package. The can't open their customer's mail you know."

Film said,"Yeah i know but they could've at least let everyone who is sending something to someone write their name down on a piece of paper showing at least some clue as to who it's from."

Paula decided not to argue back for she knows it's useless, Film is a very determind person, he tend to win everything in anything. But one thing for sure that Paula must do is go back to the temple and ask one of the monks where Beam is working. . . . .


The very next morning Film said he was going to go see his old buddies and asked if Paula wanted to go with him.

Paula said,"No, you go ahead. I think i'll rest a bit and then take a walk around a lil bit."

Film said,"Are you sure? I really don't want to leave you here all alone. Especailly after what had happened last night."

Paula smiled and said,"Ill be fine! just go, your friends are waiting!"

Film walked up to Paula and gave her a light kiss on her cheek and said,"I promise i won't be too long, but if i do i'll call!"

Paula said,"Ok, just don't worry about me too much ok?"

As Film was walking out the door, he said,"How could I not? Your my fiance!"

With that he left!

Paula just smiled and wondered what she would of done if he wasen't around.

After awhile Paula decided to head down to the temple, to her surprise Beam was already there. It seems like he was waiting for her there.

Before paula could say anything Beam asked,"Let me guess . . .you got this too?"

Beam handed out the frame from his truck.

Paula was shock.

Paula said,"I-I thought you were the one who had sent this to me!"

Beam chuckled a little bit,"You think I would cross off my face with blood? Are you crazy? What kind of a person do think i am?"

Paula said,"Oh i don't know? A Cheater!"

After Paula realized what she just said she quickly covered her mouth in shock.

Beam turned around and walked away.

Paula quickly followed and said,"Oh Beam! I'm so sorry! I-I-"

Beam turned around so abrupt and said,"You know the person that helped me cheated was YOU!"

This response really shocked Paula, she stood there like a stone.

There they were again face to face, their eyes locked within eachother. But this time things were different . . . .but what?​

...but still i can't wait to find out more...it's getting interesting...that picha is making paula and beam hate each other...or is that what the person who send them the picha's plan...lolz...

Chapter 5

They were silent for a while . . Beaqm didn't really mean what he said to Paula . . he was just mad and fustrated. But he didn't want to show Paula his soft side as well.

Paula knew in her heart that Beam didn't mean what he had said, but she couldn't help but feeling hurt and resented from him. Him the person who had once been her very best friend and him who had also stolen her heart one time in her life.

Beam decided to turn around and leave but before he could go anywhere he felt someone hugging him from behind hi8m. Without turning around he immediately knew who it was.

Paula had no idea why she was doing what she was doing . . all she knew was she can't have him hate her too. He was her only best friend left.

Tears started to roll down her cheeks as she was hugging him.

Paula said,"Please, Beam don't do this to me . . your the only best friend I have left! I'm sorry . . i didn't mean what i said. I said it out of anger and stupidity."

Beam slowly grabbed Paula's hands and let himslef go. he quickly walked to his truck and drove off leaving Paula staring back at him with tears running down her cheeks.

~Mean while~

Film did not go hang out with his friends like he had told Paula earlier . . .instead he went to a run down condo building.

he knocked on one of the doors. A young women opened the door and let him in slowly. . .

Film sat down on the love seat in the living room of the apartment.

The women ask,"Did she follow you?"

Film looked up at her and said,"she has no reason to. She trust me and thats how it should be."

The women sneered and said,"And yet your not as trustworthy to her as she had hoped."

Film asked,"So wat's the next step?"

The women said,"It's your turn . . . you have been waiting your whole life for this revenge, haven't you?"

Film gave an evil smile

Film said,"Good! I want him to know soo bad that the person who is marrying the girl he loves is his own Step brother!"

The both of them laughed and drank their wine.

Once Paula got back to her hotel room. she noticed that Film wasen't back yet. Good she didn't want to have to answer any of his questions when he finds out that she went out. She was exhausted and was very stressed out about the person who had sent her that creepy wedding preasent and about Beam. Paula decided to have some sleeping pills and and headed off to bed . . . she didn't want to think about anything any more.

That night Beam couldn't go to sleep. He didn't want to mess things up the second time. But all he could think about is Paula, after all he had had the longest crush on her for years. But knowing that he and she was the reason why Donut died just crushed him and knowing now that Paula is getting married even shattered every hope he once had.
Beam just doesn't know what to do with his life, everything goes from bad to worst so quickly. It seemed like just yesturday everything was fine and fun, life was worth living, now he just want to sleep and never wake up . . .

"Mom, where is my father? Why isen't he with us? Why do we have to move all the time?" Asked a young Film .
His mother replyed,"Film your dad cannot be with us right now. You will know the story once you are old enough."
But Film didn't understand why not, but he did not want to get his mom angry so he kept quiet. All his life he had only his mom who took care of him. While growing up Film was not as fortunet as many of the his classmates. At times at school he didn't have food to eat during lunch break, a lot of kids would tease him at school as well for not having any money or friends. Growing up for Film was rough for he had no one except his mom. But even though he has his mom, his mom was always working putting money and food on the table for just the two of them. But then his mom had finally made enough money saved up for him to go to school in america. Film didn't want to leave his mom in Thailand all alone but his mom wanted him to have a high education. Thats when Film promised his mom that he will study hard and as high as he can to buy his mom a big house to live in and a nice car to ride in. But before he could keep his promise his mom had already passed away. There was a note for Film from his mom. In the note it told Film everything he ever wanted to know about his dad and the things Film needed to know for the rest of his life. After reading the note it made Film determined to get a high education and to get revenged for his mom!​
