LOl .. oh my, ppl totally twist my words around ---
i feel that some of you misunderstood why i brought up all the stuff i had said.
KEEP IN MIND, SOMEONE BROUGHT UP THE ISSUE OF WHO'S NOT FIT TO BE IN THIS CATEGORY
what i've done and wrote in here is to clear or make a point that WE SHOULDN'T make judgement of other actresses in the list.
If they make the list, they are well deserve, they be the last person in the list but if they make the cut, they are good enough to be in it, given that, they are well deserve to be part of it.
My whole point of this issue is -- we can't say no one deserve to be in that category if majority agree to have them in one category <--
i'm defending Aff b/c of the whole 'SHE DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN IT IN COMPARE TO HER COMPETITORS'
Bias or unbias, ppl make their own call --- I'm neutral on this two actresses. i GIVE FULL CREDIT on potential ppl instead of basing it off on my personal preferernce ..
And you have to keep in mind that I did not said that she "didn't fit into the category". I only compare how the actresses played their character in their lakorns.. And if compare her role in JR to Ann's role in SB, then it is most likely that Ann will take the award. If I were to give her a award, I would give it to her for JLR, because I recognized her acting in there and was more impressed with the role than does her role in JR. I guess it's just me, but if I were to rem'ber her by, I will rem'ber her role in JLR, which leave a much more effect. If people asked me: Who is Aff? I would say: Aff from JLR costar with Aum, rather than Aff from Jai Rao. It's too bad that JLR wasn't a 2008 production
Her character in JR is rather dry and shallow to me and did not spark any interest. I'm sure some people may feel the same way too. Anyway, the person who I see didn't fit into the category was Pancake, but that is another story. As much as many of Aff fans liked her role in JR, she is facing good potential nominees like Ann and Noon, so the chance are not as high.
U can continue to defend Aff in that category as my point is different from that subject. I recognize her talent as well as Ann and Noon. When did I mentioned that she is not talent and has taken your point off completely??? I have not done so. However, my point is not that she does not deserve to be on the list, BUT rather her role as Aoey was rather weak, dry, and shallow. Her character is the weak type of Thai na'eke. The type of na'eke where she was bullied and could never fight back. A na'eke who is always submissive and the only think she could do is cry herself to sleep. If she were to win for a role like this, than I say all of the na'ekes who ever take that kind of similar role should win too. All I ever see Aoey did was cry, cry, and cry...nothing more. If she were to win because she could cry (well, that's the only thing I see) than it is as if saying that any na'eke who could cry could win, and that will put Top Award to shame because Top Award is equl. to Oscar Award. (note: she isn't the only na'eke who could cry. Noon could cry very well as well as Ann --her crying scene in
The Letter just blow me off...leave a very very deep and admirable wound to the heartt).
it should be understandable that Ann won because her role in SB had manage to impress more people, regardless of popular votes or other factors related, it should be obvious to see from watching the lakorns. I think even a neutral person would most likely to agree and see the point.
Even if these observation are make from personal preference, they are make from the perspective that I have watch the lakorns and compare the character; not so because, I dislike this person. I did not blindly make my observation without any reference to watching the lakorn. I make it base on watching the lakorns. I guess some people just have to admitt that even though her role as Aoey is good, it is not as good as the role in comparison to Nalee, played by Ann. (I'm comparing it to Ann because she won the award. I could compare it to Noon's role too but she was not the one who won). I think Aff has her shine and is talented...It's just that as a new actress she is facing good and older potential nonimee like Ann and Noon plus her character as Aoey is weaker than Nalee (Ann) and (?) Noon. She will have her chance as she is still in her twenties.
Now I'm already wondering about 2009 Top Award. Ann has a very good chance of winning again because her character in Borisud Bubam Kean is HOT, psych, insane, terrify, admirable, gives you goosebumps and etc... In addition, she will be having two lakorns coming in 2009. The one with Chaikrit and the soon-to-film with Ken.
