the number 6.....what if i dont have the little square with the circle in the middle?.....what do i do next for it to stay there?....cause when i click on the mask button on the bottom only the white square pop up....but i dont see the square next to the eye.....help.....me is confused =(

lol i was confuse too..but wen u're selecting
ur gradient..there should be a drop down list
w/ choices like angel / radial / reflect etc. the one
ur suppose to use is the radial one..i hope i'm rite..lo.l

i just used photoshop today and it's also confusing...
but i think that you're supposed to use the transparent BG...
go to file and new...
there should be a box at the very bottom...
click on the arron pointing down, and it should say transparent...
then click okay/open...
