Where is the best internet provider?

For those who are using dsl/cable, can you suggest which company has the best internet provider? cuz I want to switch out from AOL, cuz it's really slow, but I want to know which one has the best deal ^_^

I agree with Rakniran. Their customer service sucks, but their tech peeps are pretty cool though

EARTHLINK is the best .. but it's expensive hahah =P i use comcast too

i use yahoo dsl. it's only around 15 bucks. it's fast enough you mite what to think about that. if you are looking forward to downloading a lot of things. i dont recommend this because it's not fast enough. but you could still leave ur computer on and download at night. whatever you want.

Well, in my country we only have 1 ISP and the service are suckssss <_< , ya pay for 1MB downstream speed, but wat ya get is only 50KB and the ISP don't give a damn about it, lol it's just make me pissed. We have no choice lol, unlike other countries they have many ISP, if this ISP sucks they can choose the other one.

oooh ok. thanks a lot guys. also I have another question, when I get dsl, does it mean that every time I sign on to the internet I don't have to go through those dial-up thing or do I still need to but it's faster?
