my question is... how are you suppose to dance to hmong songs anyways? i hope i dont offend anyone with this question but what are the original steps/moves from back then? is it the same as the way they move now? cause now i see is a bunch of hopping around, waving hands movements around that doesnt look like it's suppose to be moved that way??? examples would be nice
Here's a traditional Hmong dance. It's called "Dhia Qeej Tuaj Taw" and it used to be an old courting ritual (kinda like pov pob, but a lot better). The guys would get together and play their qeejs and if a girl liked them, they would also join in and dance around the guys, encouraging them to play more.
